I have been trying for a long while to figure out how to translate a simple English phrase to Cantonese. If anyone out there can do this for me it would be very appreciated. I'm looking into exactly how the phrase "Your father is dead," would be phonetically spelled-out in English. I understand there are more complexities to the language than this really allows, but for the purpose of a story/novel/who knows I'm needing to put it on paper. Again, I appreciate any help any one might be able to give in advance. Hope everyone's New Year is prosperous.
