Dream interpritation/study

I was wondering if there is a name for the study of dreams or dream interpritation, like dreamology, or whatever.

Also, lets say you had a friend who died in a car accident, and then for a while you have a dream where you are your friend in the car right before he or she dies. Is there a word for that? Being someone else in a dream? Spicifically in relations to dying, but also just in general, either or.

Interests in dream studies and interpretations are fairly common, so I was hoping someone could answer these questions.
