I have to concur with Matt here on this. Mistakes were made but apologies were given, accepted, and it seemed like everybody agreed to move on and leave the bullshit behind us.
Stirring it up again is just going to result in another flame war (and possibly) more bans.
We have this agreement in workshop that if you don't like the person, you stay away from them, their work, their threads--everything. Perhaps we should adopt the same regarding the forum.

Unfortunately, this part of the site is WAY larger and it's a lot easier to cross paths. A couple of times today, I've wanted to post certain things in response to other posts, but I stopped, and I thought to myself, "Is this really worth posting? Or is it just more of the same?"
We have a lot of great people, and I know everyone has their own opinion of things, and wants to express it, but sometimes we just have to take a step back, and as Eddy's thread suggests (though not his most recent post in THIS thread) take a breath.
The only reason you guys are still even *thinking* about this past drama is because you AREN'T SUCKLING.

i would like to extend a sincere apology, specifically to Alecia and Six but also to anyone else that my comment offended. i honestly didn't know it was six, and it was an off-hand comment that was in poor taste i admit. saying that, i am not condoning my comment. it was un-called for.
i did have a whole spiel here planned. i was going to comment on the cliques and the behaviour and the way it drives writers away from here etc. but all of the comments i have made in PM or email to mods and admin have been brought up by them. and i'd like to thank them for not just ignoring me and my opinions and bringing them up.
i'd also like to say that from here on. i think i will be particiapting only in WS related discussions (on the closed forum) and in the WS. this isn't because i don't have thick enough skin or anything like that. because i can handle it. and i very well could have come back on here defending myself and attacking everyone that said horrible things to me.
the main reason why i will not be participating in the general forums anymore is time. i guess all this was a blessing in disguise. it has made me realise why i came here. i came here to learn. to write. to meet writers and network with equals. the general discussion becomes extremly time consuming and distracting. so this is why i won't be involved any longer.
i'll be keeping an eye on this thread until it dies, just in case i have to post back again.

The protagonist character of "Matthew O'Donnell" seemed a bit forced at first, but then gradually moved into it's own with the apology scene.
I felt like the villain Nightrous was also a bit over the top, but his previous work has always proven well researched.
If ScarcrowJack doesn't get an Emmy nod for best guest star in a comedic role, (for "suckle") I'm never voting with the academy again!

For the longest time I wanted to watch the movie. Every time I'd pass by it at blockbuster I would want to rent it but for some reason I never did. I finally saw Tank Girl on cable I think when I first joined here and yeah it's pretty awful. I don't like the actress they chose she was better off in that League of Their Own movie as the envious little sister. Most movies in the early 90's are pretty tacky though and are best enjoyed when you had watched them in that era and can look back on those awful 80's/90's transition years.
