I am completely enthralled with Sandman but, oddly enough, I could never muster any interest in The Kindly Ones storyarc. Which is just madness because that's basically the sum of every single other story line and character and results in his death. But i remember just hating whoever did the artwork for it so much, that I don't think I ever even bought a copy of any issue. I did get The Wake issues after it though. Those were good, especially The Tempest.

This was goddamn terrible.
that arguement was fucking hilarious. and the ending gif made me cry and wee a little. awww sheeeeeeeet!
and as far as comics i can't get into go. i'll say Sandman, but saying that, i haven't picked one up in years. an ex of mine's sister used to be into them and tried palming them off to me buti didn't get it then. i've kind of stopped shopping for comics...
i love neil gaiman but i couldn't get into sandman. i read the first volume and it didn't do anything for me. it might be because i read all of his books first and then read the comic.
