List great under-used/under-appreciated comic characters.
I always thought The Phantom Stranger was one of the biggest wastes of what could have been an incredible character.
Granted, I've never really followed him or DC in general, but just from seeing his appearances from the periphery I can see he's being under-used.
The past couple days I've been putting little pieces together of what would make a kick-ass story for him and from looking at his wikipedia, it doesn't look like it's been done before.

List some of your favorite characters that no one is doing anything with.
I've never read Preacher, was it set in the DC universe or it's own?
It be kind of hard for them to use him anymore, unless it's his own mini-series.

I've completely forgotten what I had for this. I gotta start writing all this shit down the instant I have it.
Isn't Preacher published by Vertigo? As far as I know, Vertigo books don't tie in with the DC Universe. Though apparently some of them tie in with the real universe. I'm pretty sure they reference Preacher as a comic book in Y: The Last Man.
"A celibate clergy is an especially good idea, because it tends to suppress any hereditary propensity toward fanaticism." -Carl Sagan
"Am I cruel? Probably. Is she an idiot? Yes." -jane s.
i think they pulled a character or two from the real DC universe for preacher. but even then it was just characters from mature DC books before they were called vertigo.

Spider Man + complete dickery = AWESOME.
When did they change the noise to "schlikt"?
julie from the maxx (well maxx should have been a longer running comic as well)

nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it.
i think it was because of the bone claws. i always hated those.
^5 That shit didn't even make any sense. I hate it when writers are suddenly all like "WELL, ACTUALLY..." in a story.
Spider Man + complete dickery = AWESOME.
What does SpiderMan have to do with any of that? It's Deadpool, Wolverine and Kitty Pride.
I'd like to see more Stink Hair Stu

That has got to be the most "unfunny" comic strip I've ever seen. Even by internet comic strip standards.
Yeah, I was using it as an example. Doofus strips are hard to come by when you are too lazy to scan your doofus comic. Stink Hair Stu doesn't even have a hair net in the above strip.

but the art is fairly decent

I've always thought Dr. Strange was pretty cool for a c-lister.
