So GOOD! Love mine, Jazz.
This makes me wish I read more comics.

This is frickin' great! I love the 299 cents bit!
does anyone know anything about those Van Gogh/Dali/Gorey covers? Was there some sort of theme for them or something? That'd be a pretty cool thing to have, with the alternate covers they do. Have your regular cover than have one inspired by famous artist, like those!

I was just looking this up. Turns out Marvel did something called "Wolverine Art Appreciation Month" in the lead up to the Wolverine Origins movie (whatever it was called, I forget.. and I saw it, lol). Certain Marvel issues had second covers with the Wolverine designs on them. Pretty cool idea.

As for the other comic I gave you I really don't know why but I automatically just thought of you when I saw that cover.
Much better. Just one question, what the fuck does that spell? I can read "NEW" but that other word I could only pick out just one or two words.
"The rat inside your brain rules the world."
Citizen Kane SUCKED!!!!!!! True fact.
Alcoholism is the cure not the disease.
I believe it says "new mutants".

That was a good idea, but why the hell would they put them on all their comics?
If you're buying an issue of Moon Knight, it ought to have Moon Knight on the cover!
it's a pretty transparent attempt to just "pump" up sales on their other books.

What a coincidence, I have made a request with my town that my address be changed to that very same title.
It's still pending.
Thankyou for the thought

Oh I definitely agree. I think they even charged more for these issues than regular issues, just to rub it in. Jerks.
surely, by now they've come out with a pin-up book with all the covers in one place?
how can they be so greedy to put them on all these different books to make a buck, yet too stupid to realise the cash-cow that a pin-up book would bring!
That's New Mutants. The character is named Warlock. He's a techno-organic alien and a good guy.

Tuffy the Dump Truck may rarely increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke. The risk may be greater if you have heart disease or increased risk for heart disease (for example, due to smoking, family history of heart disease, or conditions such as high blood pressure or diabetes), or with longer use. Tuffy should not be taken right before or after heart bypass surgery. Also, Tuffy may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from the stomach or intestines. This effect can occur without warning symptoms at any time while taking Tuffy. Older adults may be at higher risk for this effect. (See also Precautions and Drug Interactions sections.) Stop taking Tuffy and get medical help right away if you notice any of the following rare but serious side effects: bloody or black/tarry stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, chest/jaw/left arm pain, shortness of breath, unusual sweating, weakness on one side of the body, sudden vision changes, slurred speech. Ask your doctor if Tuffy is right for you.
Are you doing these based on personality or just how cool the covers are?
I tried to join in but kit said I was DOING IT WRONG.

both if you see in the first couple threads i used some pretty cheesy comic covers but all are based on who the cover reminds me of.

I am portrayed charmingly by Thora Birch.

I don't really know who you are, but I get the impression that you've been on this board under a few different names? You posted a Tank Girl cover, and anyone with any kind of history knows that there's really only one (ex)member that can be associated with Tank Girl. And that person is not Lofi. That's all.
yeah no tank girl covers Matt might get banned again and I don't want to go through that again
Awk. Werrrrrd...

#24- For Freemena

#23 - For Big S

#22- For Caitlin

Strangely enough, I just got done painting my face with blood. Of course, it has to be the blood of unbaptized children. Since, as is common knowledge, anything else can cause bad acne.
Also that Transformers cover Brandon got is really great.
#27- For Kirk

#21- for Timberly.

Ready? GO!

That is obviously Derek's!
I really like mine. I never realized Ralph Steadman did any work for the comic industry.
Dude i love Iron Fist. I always thought he was cool; good color scheme too.

Yeah, they're talking about Tobii. But I Love Tank Girl too. Tobii, Tank Girl and I have history, man. It's deep. And weird. And silly. And quite embarrassing and hilarious.
I demand a Tank Girl cover for myself. After all, It is set in Australia.

#41- For Nate
