The Nightmare Box
I adored this entire novel, Praise to Chuckie, but I was absolutely manhandled by the Nightmare Box. I want to see it in more depth. I want to really rip into that box. Does he have any short stories or pieces on the Box itself? If not, I really think he should incorporate it into his next piece. What are your thoughts?
I found the story amazingly mysterious and creepy. I think it deserved a little more back story but on the other hand I've stayed up many a night just wondering what could be inside.
Skeptical as to how it could be effectively worked into another book, though.
Yes.
I think stories about the box would be better than a discussion of what's inside the box. I don't want to know how the magic trick works, I just want to see what happens.

Maybe I'm just a douche but I thought the whole nightmare box thing was so contrived and stale.
Step back. Evaluate. Recognize.
