Dissertion
Great story, but the ending was kinda wierd. Did he kill that girl to keep her from going to the FBI? That last line - "But I really need to make a phone call first." Was he setting up a hit or something? That's what it seemed like to me.
i dont remember much of haunted other than the fact that i didnt like it
and, no, no one besides me is going to respond to this
what a buncha assholes
Don't mean to leave you hanging, but my photographic memory isn't working today, or ever.
what a buncha assholes
i know. fucking dicks.
I'll reply!
And I was wondering that as well...Perhaps we are over thinking the end to that story? Maybe it really is just as simple as he wanted her to not call the FBI or the press or something.
I think the Missing Link was angry to hear Mandy's speculation about his sister.
It makes you angry to treat your own family as a monster.
So he would punish her just a little with his familiy.
Still, if she didn't change the insistence.
Moreover, it's his sister of just death to be treated as a monster.
It's not amusing even if they killed her by the momentum.
This is wheRe the true genius of chuck comes out. The stories of Bigfoot that ms。 somebody is so sure of are presented to the member o the assOciated tribe. Bigfoot is a myth and we won't know if it is true or not. Chucks ending let's us believe what we want. Either the Indian is going tO call a hitman tO take her out because the info is true or he is just bringing her home to get laid and has to call his parents first . It's our call if we want to believe in Sasquatch or not. U brought up the last qoute, well look back a line or two before that and it says " any guy would be an idiot not to take her home to the reservation." he'll even I'd humor her for some pussy ha
okay yeah i was so confused by the ending of this book. one, how come miss sneezy had to be put in quaratine before coming on the retreat due to being so deadly, but while in the theater it was a non-issue? i think mother nature killed her because they had done so so many self-detrimental acts, both physical and emotional, that none of them wanted a cheap ending to their plight. i had to reread it about 5 times and am still unclear as to how the hell whittier came back.. was he in fact watching them on moniters? and if he claims he ONLY watched.. who repaired the furnace? washed the clothes? i absolutely loved this book but i cannot deal with all of the unanswered questions...!

anybody gonna fucking answer me!?!??!?!?!?!
