Correlation between Lullaby and Haunted

I wasn't really sure whether to put this in the Lullaby section or here, so I just went for this one.
What is going on with the correlation between Lullaby and Haunted? Both have the line 'We're all of us haunted and haunting' and there's that stain with the arms and legs that i didn't understand reading Haunted. Now that I've read Lullaby, I THINK I understand it. There's also aomething else, I think.
Did anyone else notice this, and if yes, can they please explain it to me? I only finished the book last night and things are piling up in my brain.
This is also my first post here in ages. It feels good.
I don't think there's any connection between the two. Just because they might have a same sentence doesn't really mean much. And I'm not sure what "stain with arms and legs" you mean?
