Characters
Wich character is your favourite on this novel? and the one you don´t like that much? I men from the ones locked on the theater.
mine are
FAVOURITE: I really like Saint Gut-Free (i don´t know but I feel related to him... too many masturbations perhaps)
DON´T LIKE: Miss America ( I can´t stand her...I really hated her though the whole book, she´s so intorelable and stupid.. I really laugh on her fate )
By the way..I just LOVE this book. I keep re reading it
some you now know why do I feel so related to the saint..
My favorite character would have to be Director Denial because of her Exodus story,
and my least favorite would probably be Duke of Vandals only because I didn't like his story as much as the others. Great book though
too many of the characters have got the same exact voice
is there any difference between the Frostbite chick and the marilyn monroe baby gal?
i guess it's alright though since it's actually just one person telling all these stories

I love Exodus also, it is the one that I guess I "feel" the most for some reason. I think Tess Clark's are really great too
Sister Vigilante. I loved the whole "We Are Our Own Worst Enemies" sort of message. Powerful stuff.
I really felt that the Duke of Vandal's story was the weakest though, and for that reason he is my least favorite.
I thought Vigilante's story was the weakest, then Duke of Vandals. However, they're all Palahniuk, so they're all good.
I didn't really 'like' any of the characters, except maybe Whittier, though I lost respect when I found out he did to the nurses, how twisted, haha, but kept it interesting. Didn't particularly 'dislike' anyone either. I can equate this book to watching Maury. You may feel bad for the husband of twenty years who finds out all eleven kids aren't his, and all from different people, but you're still just laughing your ass off at him.
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
I liked chef assassin the most because of his story and sort of how his character went throughout the entire book. I really didn't like Mr. Whittier cause of how he faked his death and what he did to the nurses but i didn't really think that if any of the nurses talked they would of actually been convicted of having sex with a minor if whittier really looks as old as hes made out to be. they couldn't of known.

All of them touched me in a pleasurable way...
Mr. Whittier is my favorite simply because of his whole philosphy about stories. How you either use them up or they use you up. And his whole thing about this life being a constant mashing and crashing and smashing into eachother smoothing out the edges of ourselves in order to be allowed into the other life.
I also like the twist of Mr. Whittier.
He seemed like someone I could smile at and say, "Dude, your such an asshole," then we'll chuckle and laugh and share sex stories...
Oh, and call me a literary retard if you want but, how do you pronounce Mr. Whittier?
Is it Witty-er?
Or White-y-er

I pronounced it Whit-ter the whole time while reading it, but I'm not sure if that's right.
I didn't have a favourite character, not a character I found myself smiling at the way we might do for Tyler Durden or Jules from Pulp Fiction. I have got favourite stories though. I just, in general, really liked that book.
the Exodus story I liked the best, and therefore its protagonist, too.
Sanity, the ultimate insanity.

I also like St. Gutfree, but that's more out of empathy i guess. One minute you're just a kid getting off, next minute you'' never be a lawyer..
I think that's how i feel about most characters from this book, i either have empathy or apathy. i wouldn't want to be any of them. I really agree with miss america..
i thought Lady Baglady's story was exceptionally written
