A few questions (spoilers i think)

I am not done with haunted and i didnt want to run into all of these spoilers when i search, so here it goes, When Mr.Whittier is dying, its talking about them practicing what to say, and what it will look like. Are they videotaping all of this to make a reality show? And did they empty the food bags and ruin everything on purpose? I might have missed a few things, and im a wee lost, and in the dark. How old is Brandon Whittier, because he had progeria, and in his story, he was 13. (what a clever story that was!)

They're not taping the whole senerio, but rather they're interested in remembering and writing everything down (it's referenced when someone would say a line, and Chuck would say they'd all be writing down the quote). They did empty/ruin everything on purpose, because they want themselves to become the victims. A lot of the book's filler (not stories) is mainly about who can be the biggest victim.
