The War on Chalk Begins!
When the War on Chalk began, three videographers were there to document it.
My camera angle as posted at FreeConcord.org:
Version from talley.tv
Version from Biker Bill, youtube.com/BikerBillNH
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
I love these. Please make more with Officer Thompson.
and nothing of value was lost...

This is why we can't have nice things.
That's Faizon Love nigga! His best performance to date.
you've obiesly never seen Who's Your Caddy.
"Violently (With Violence)"
I love that...
Get on over to my website, young'un! www.subvertfromwithinrecords.blogspot.com
You'll notice that two of the three vids above are blank. They were removed by YouTube at the behest of one of the bureaucrats in the video. He didn't want you to see them.
BikerBill had an additional video from the day removed as well. All of the censored videos are available here:
http://freekeene.com/2010/11/29/youtube-censors-chalking-videos/
My video was pulled from youtube.com/freeconcordtv. Because of Youtube's censorship, My website's video hosting is now handled by blip.tv. My new channel is http://freeconcord.blip.tv.
I'm working on an edited version which replaces the youtube-saddening images of the bureaucrats with historically relevant bureaucrats.
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
I saw some people doing this the other day in town. Didn't catch what they were writing because I was driving past, but you'll be happy to know, Gig, that no authorities were stopping them, and they had a fair bit of ground covered.
It could've been something to do with this big protest about a dam here. That or the coal situation.
I'm sorry, but if someone keeps chalking somewhere after being asked not to and then refuses to stand up, its her own damn fault if she gets cuffed and ends up with marks on her. And I'm pretty sure Evan was spinning himself. Did you see him scissor the guys knee? I understand what you are trying to do, but I think you are overdoing it with all this shit about how much they want to harm you. What do you think is going to happen when you struggle against them? You probably have more experience with this than I do, so you should know. And people who know what will happen shouldn't purposefully cause it by struggling.

It doesn't help that they look like a bunch of Burning Man rejects and that one chick was shouting the whole time. There are better, more effective ways of handling a-hole cops.
Judge the collective by the actions of the individuals, dismiss collective. Far easier than judging the individuals.
If you don't like how its being done, then...
How would you challenge the status quo beyond living normal serf life?
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
just out of curiosity, how do you pay for your internet connection?
I use borrowed internet from a number of places. Whae do you axe?
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
He wants you to say you steal from your neighbor's wi-fi so I can call you a hypocrite, which you do, so I will.
I have to say, I think you guys went a bit overboard. It seems less like a peaceful protest and more like you're just looking for loopholes to piss people off and start trouble. And that chick that was yelling was really fucking annoying. I'm surprised no one slapped up the side of the head. She wasn't willing to get in the line of fire, just stand by shouting shit while everyone else got dragged off into the mysterious room.
I don't even get what was supposed to be peaceful about that. They're committing vandalism and assaulting cops violently (with violence).
I guess it was peaceful in the sense that all they were doing was writing on things with chalk, and it can be washed off. It's not really vandalism because there's not permanence to it. Maybe.
I saw a group like this vandalizing the sidewalk in front of some random house. They looked pretty young. I bet they weren't any older than 10 years old! Anyway, they drew a whole bunch of boxes on the sidewalk. They even drew numbers in each box! They got so out of control that they threw rocks and started jumping on one foot in each of those numbered boxes. It was madness. Unfortunately they were not arrested for their disruptive behavior.

Utterly ridiculous. Did you yell at them? I would've.
Stop defacing my property and tresspassing and I'll stop opressing your bourgoisie asses.
This is why we can't have nice things.
how great would it have been if they brought out the firehoses and just blasted them all away, and just said "We were just trying to wash all the chalk off."
That, now That would've been cool.

Introducing the Youtube appropriate Censored version!
The video stars Osama Bin Laden as Faizon Love, Alexander Haig as Holton, and Pol Pot as the SS man.
I also just bought http://freeconcord.tv, which is where my uncensored vids go. Down with censorship.
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
you do know it's not censorship if they decide you are violating their terms of service, right?
