The Verdict is In!
especially giving alcohol to minors.
He's the King of Pop, who married the King of Rock and Roll's daughter, Of course he got off.

I'm sure you meant that in a non sexual way. Because as we all know, they didn't even sleep in the same bed. They had twin beds like in the old days, I Love Lucy style.

When the first charge is more or less keeping people hostage, you had to know that something wasn't right, or that the someone's who charged him had alterior motives. That's child's mother came in with no credability, so I think there was two strikes against the case before it started.
But, I'm sure, having money and being the King of Pop didn't hurt his case...
i can't say whether i think he's guilty or not...i didn't follow the case. what i do know is that no matter how uneducated on the facts, everyone had an opinion. the fans blindly said he didn't do it, while others said he was guilty w/o knowing anything more than he was a weirdo.
maybe he touched little boys, maybe not. all i know is that any other 46 year old man who admittedly had children in his bed would have been rung up within seconds of deliberation.
Well, at least the trial ate up a lot of his resources.

i think i heard somewhere along the line that he has huge debt c.28 million...........i might be confusing his situation and mike tyson's,
No comment. He is not worth discussing.
It's curious that he made this huge settlement last time and this time it went to court. The cynic in me considers that he's guilty as charged and fought in court this time because the alleged victim and his mother were so awful.
He has the mind of a fantasy believing child and prolly did sleep in the same beds as kids, but I don't think he stuck his fingers up their butts. They're out for his (slinking) money.

I don't know. After that last case was settled in 93, the kid never spoke to his mother again. She was his gaurdian at the time and made the decision to settle. I t could be that he hated her dragging his name through the mud for money or it could be that he couldn't stand that she took money after that man molested him.

I find it a hard thing to believe that, if Michael is sane of mind, that he would do such a thing without thinking he would draw attention to himself. Still, he's the saddest case of a child star growing up too fast and I think he's innocent. He's fucked in the head yeah, but ill at will? Nah.
But then again, who knows? He might be cunning as hell. In any case, LA got away with a riot. Could you've imagined, white as Michael is, that the brothers would still be pissed as hell and tore the whole place down? Not to forget all his harcore fans?
everytime I see Wacko Jacko on the tv he comes across as a frigging nutcase.
I do feel truly sorry for him, but he does read as the classic pedaphile prototype: I know that that big expose on him on tv a few years ago had been manipulated a bit and came across as a little contrived but there's no way of going around it that you just shouldn't sleep in a bed with other people's kids.
Honestly, I always kind of thought he was guilty of something in the past. Until today. Actually, I had doubts build more and more as this case went on, but after spending an entire day flipping back and forth between all of the channels covering the case, I didn't hear one concrete fact that Jackson could be guilty of anything other than being someone a good chunk of the media has a grudge against. Most of the rhetoric being thrown around had nothing in fact, but rather speculation that they wanted to be true...any wanted everyone else to believe was true.
Sure, Jackson's different. I can't see how a dude can get down with sleeping in the same bed as little kids. But the more and more I see him, the more I believe he's guilty of nothing more than having the mentality of a 8 year old, and really bad judgement with who he surrounds himself with.
And if he ever was guilty of child molestation, it definetely wasn't with this kid in question. That kid's mom was outrageous. The kid's brother got caught up in at three crucial lies. And the kid himself changed his story at least three times. And anyone who watched the case from the beginning--or even today in defeat--could tell that the DA has a personal vendetta against Jackson.
I thought the justice system actually worked right for once.
once he made settlements in the past i think he openned the door for further accusation.
also, he had some of his former playmates testify on his behalf (macauly and one of the corey's).
....but then again you could NOT touch a 999 kids, but then feel up just 1 and your a child molester.
Honestly, after watching EVERY one of thoes E! reenactments of the MJ trial, (thank god for tivo, one day a week I would watch the whole week), I dont think he should have been charged with anything other than suplying drinks to minors. But I mean, sure, its a fuckin nut job, no question there. Based on current standards, hes a fuckin crazy mo fo, he is totally against the norm, but there was no proof that he did anything, and the witnesses credibility was about as solid as my dick when I think about the case. He is a strange guy, yes, but thats not what he was being charged with. Congratz on a rural jury reaching this victory. I really gained some confidence in the system after this. Just my $.02.

Actually, his former 'playmates' weren't defense witnesses. Culkin and others were prosecution witnesses that ended up blowing up in their own face.

but they were still on his side, thats why it blew up, right?
but they were still on his side, thats why it blew up, right?
well, if the prosecution honestly thought anyone was going to be on the defense's side, they wouldn't call them as a witness to disprove what they are trying to prove. that just doesn't make any sense.
the same thing that happened with Culkin and others happened with Jackson's ex-wife. the DA assumed she was going to say that Jackson was some maniacal control freak and when she got on the stand she said the exact opposite.
another of their witnesses that blew up in their face.
if you watched any of the jury talk last night a bunch of them kept saying that they were looking for the prosecution to come up with someone to solidify what they were trying to prove, and nobody came along.
pretty much anyone they brought to the stand the defense ripped apart.
I found out the funniest thing today. When the first allegations over Michael being a pedaphile were unveiled, Michael disappeared for a while. Some said to France, which might have been another of his hiding places, but apparently to my f'cking village too! It makes sense, as the place is remote and press free. Anyway, Jacko stayed at the manor house here and the only times he came out the house were as dressed as an old woman in a wheelchair! All phones inside the manor were dead and the front gate security was maximised. Note that this place has a bloody helipad!
Seemingly during Jackson's stay at the house (which was for a good few weeks) loads of photographs of his mini 'holiday' were taken, but Jacko made it crystal clear that the only way the pictures could be developed were if they were developed abroad (Jackson actually paid for the flights!) to mystify his whereabouts! Unsurprisingly enough, and however contrived this may sound, all the pictures had him bouncing little children on his lap.
So yes, I shit you not.
Anyway, hardly anything to determine whether he did it or not, but fucking funny nonetheless.
I got a kick of out of the flag that said "France Loves You Michael" at the courthouse yesterday.

I doubt he was guilty of anything more than giving them the alcohol (maybe a Percodan...), so I'm glad, I guess, he was found "Not Guilty" of the rest. And besides, he made one of the greatest albums ever, Thriller. Of course France loves him.

It doesn't surprise me that he was acquitted of molestation, but I can't believe NOTHING stuck.
