Cheers mate!
...The problem in this situation is those people. The ones that are basing their opinion on one person. Not Moore. Moore did nothing that the rest of the media hasn't.

Exactly you get (note this is about the new movie) Buch's side of the story, and now we need someone else's point of view, so that, with a little research on our own part, we can make a intelligent decision on how we feel about the whole topic. Like if we were to believe everything we see and heaar form the media as comming from the word of god I would think that tere were not black heliocopters in the sky.....ok just kiddding, but you can't believe everything your read, and see that's all.....

I read every reply to this post and kept on changing my mind about what I should say myself.
I'm not really a Moore fan. I'm definitely not a Disney fan (well, I do enjoy Disney songs such as "Part Of That World" from the Little Mermaid soundtrack and "Just Around The Riverbend" from the Pocahontas soundtrack).
This is business. Disney's the boss. As long as they're not violating any laws by doing so, if Disney says no they say no. I'm sure Moore will find another distributor.
Really it sounds like a lot of people are making this too big of a deal.
He said that he plans to do a documentary on mental-illness and the mental-illness healthcare system in America next. But that's only talk by him so far, nothing definite. After all, Tarantino announces a new movie that he never does every week.
i heard tarantino wants to do a bond film, an adaption of Casino Royale. Which is cool because all the contemporary bond movies now suck major cock.
Does Disney already own Moore, as in there is some sort of contract agreement that he CANT use anyone else as a distributor, thus they have the ability to control what he creates??
I really dont get this story...Why would Moore need Disney anyways? He could self produce and keep all the profits himself, God knows he has a massive fucking following as it is.
Well I say this movie the other day. And it was intresting enough, but what I want to know is if it's really going to have the efect that he wanted-to skew the vote. Well...your thoughts?
Wow does anyone else smell the irony?
Alene I like you but I don't follow your logic.
So I am supposed to not like Michael Moore because some uneducated idiots don't have enough common sense to educate themselves on subject matter before spewing shit from a film. I'm sorry but I won't stop defending a good man just because a couple of idiots try to use the facts he uses in his films for there own purpose.
I really think people are misunderstanding me here. I have NOTHING at all against Moore. In fact, I like him and I think he is doing a great job at opening up the minds of people who would otherwise never question things at all. I totally think everyone should see Bowling for Columbine and I think that he has some great points and great opinions. But this really has nothing to do with that I think about Moore or what anyone else thinks about him. My problem is people that accept anyone's word as the final word in the matter. I don't care if it is Moore or Bush or Trypd. Moore just happens to be the topic here, and I know far too many people that watched Bowling for Columbine and took everything they saw as gospel and formed all of their opinions based on that movie. The problem in this situation is those people. The ones that are basing their opinion on one person. Not Moore. Moore did nothing that the rest of the media hasn't.
