Exact opposite. I would like to run for president some day, but apparently no one vote for atheists, and probably even less would vote for an antitheist. I'm hoping America will take after China in two aspects; the top five government officials in China are engineers, and it is an atheist state. Theoretically, America is an atheist state that allows people to practice any religion that they want, but it's starting to not look that way.

I wish US was an atheist state, but the truth is more like US is a Christian state that cannot grasp the concept that anybody wants freedom from religion. The way I look at it, religion should be irrelevant to government, the state should not be officially atheist any more than officially Christian, it should just be plain secular and spiritual beliefs should not come to bear in any way. So called "moral" issues can be addressed in the context of ethics and the social contract.

I would be for both the country and the people of the country, but more for the people. If that makes sense. If the people are prosperous, the country would be prosperous.
I'm not currently a member of any party, nor do I have my own party. I'll go with the Scientist party.
I completely agree that the two party system is bad.
I kind of like China's policy on religion, if it doesn't cause a ruckus, believe whatever you want.
