If that's the case, then don't make a thread because its something we already know by your standards. Also, please don't say "go research this yourself." That's being lazy..you should give people links because it's Teh Internet with gazillions of who know what websites out there. I'm not saying if you have an opinion, then you're not supposed to voice it out. From here on out, I suggest people who want a soapbox to label their threads with an (IMO). There's some more. This is funny because I wasn't talking about research on the internet but it's all-good. If I find any really good ones I'll post them but I guess finding sites on this stuff is about as hard as typing a few key words into google. I would have thought that not wanting to research would account for laziness on your part not on mine. Actually I wasn't asking for a soapbox I just thought I would bring my approach to the whole political and world events forum. Look at the pictures... form your own opinion... like I said not only was I watching meet the press when I found out about Skull and Bones but I also had a high enough perception to see that the damage to the pentagon on my tapes didn't make sense. I came to the Internet and there happened to be sites... now ones that I have provided you links to. Some of them out there are plenty full of shit... instead of my shit being fair and balanced I try to find some truth and be honest in the process of giving my own opinion. In this case you've got yours too.

I don't know of anything contradicting the airplane attack on the Pentagon, though every time 9/11 is referred to as Al Queda's first attack on U.S. soil I have to wonder about TWA 800, and for that matter about the possibility that the Oklahoma City bombers learned the finer points of fertlizer bombs from Al Queda operatives...

I'm not saying I buy into the conspiracies Brutal was floating, but I'm not dumb enough to believe the whole truth shows up in the New York Times. An old friend, Jack Cashill, coauthored a book on Flight 800 that he was doing groundwork on years before the 9/11 attacks, and Jack isn't a conspiracy theorist. There's credible evidence that the Clinton Administration did not want it known that Flight 800 was a terrorist attack on U.S. soil because of the ramifications.

The Okalahoma City thing is something I've come across from at least semi-credible sources, that there is evidence that Nichols traveled to the Phillipines and that before he did his bombs didn't work. When he came back they did.

I'm not a subscriber to any particular 'theory' about these things. I don't trust the government to give us the straight dope, they've lied too often historically to be considered a reliable source. Al Queda as an ignored problem does not need an OKC or Flight 800 tie in to indict everyone in government prior to 9/11: two embassies, the WTC truck bomb, the USS Cole, etc., they were fucking with us left and right with almost no reaction from us. I think it surprised the shit out of them when we took on the Taliban. We'd been sending a clear signal to Osama & Co. (who we'd been cozy with at one time) to hit us again and put some stank on it. So they did.

Then we invade Iraq, and none of the reasons given held up, which only makes me think we're still being lied to.

Men like Ashcroft and Janet Reno just inspire paranoia in the masses because they can't keep their stories straight. I prefer my conspiracy theories spun by Robert Shea or Thomas Pynchon because they make them entertaining.

It is about time I said something. Since everyone has done some speculating (serious and not) I would like to propose my THEORY and since this involves more than one person -- unfortunately -- this makes it a conspiracy. I've gone over my tapes and searched the Internet for stuff. I have to say that if I hadn't of caught it on my tapes and searched further for aerial photos I probably never would have understood this as a conspiracy... you know what... no... it's not a "conspiracy" (if you want a real conspiracy check the one out about Kennedy that has been concocted by the public. Misinformation blown out of proportion by the public is a conspiracy in itself. There was no magic bullet theory needed. Oswald acted alone… get over it!)... this is merely a cover-up... at least I hope so. I don't think I would have found out about this if the actual reported events hadn't caused some suspicion to arise in my mind and if I had found out about this on other terms I would have thought that it was bullshit (maybe). Anyway I would like to think that this is a cover-up. My theory is that Flight 77 was shot down by our fighters in defense of the capital and it was discovered that there were no terrorists aboard (there were eye-witnesses that saw an explosion in the air over Pennsylvania) so the secretary of defense gets a phone call saying that the US military is responsible for hundreds of deaths and he makes a call to VP Cheney… Cheney says something like: “Take care of it… I don’t care what you have to do… make it look like it hit somewhere in D.C…. hit the white house if you want … nobody’s in there… Do something… aren’t they renovating somewhere in the Pentagon?” Secretary of Defense contacts a pilot and tells him to crash his fighter into the Pentagon where they’re renovating, also to arm and fire a missile just before he ejects. I’m sure if somebody saw someone parachuting they would probably be thrown off a bit by the huge explosion and smoke pouring thru the sky (let alone the events of that day). I don’t know… I haven’t heard of people’s families that would have gotten a phone call that day from some one on the plane… this is just my theory but like I’ve said… it gives you reasonable doubt in the 9-11 incident. It makes you think. It makes you take another look at the government and say, “There’s something not right about this.” Something like this makes me want to do something. What can you do though? I could uhhh come and post a thread and tell other people and when enough people know then we can ask them about it and when we say, “Why didn’t you just tell us?” They can confirm all of our beliefs and give NO COMMENT.

have you a better theory on what actually happened? included in this theory you have to show exactly what the gov't would lose if this knowledge was public, and what the gov't would gain by covering it up. without either a better explanation, or proof of loss versus gain, all you've got is a really bad, and much loathed conspiracy theory. file this one with "aliens ate my grandma and gave birth to a rabid monkey housefly"...
in fact, despite the "evidence" (or lack-there-of) provided by many websites supposedly knowing the truth, and despite the fact that none of these theorists have come up with a more plausible or intelligent theory, i'm going to stick with what we all actually saw happen, and what would be near impossible to cover up, and near impossible to fake, i think this is just that, a conspiracy theory. the skull and bones thing is over-hyped, much like being in the calvin and hobbes GROSS club (Get Rid Of Slimy girlS).
