Reagan's dead.
yup.
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=519&e=1&u=/ap/20040605/ap_on_re_us/reagan_obit
I saw it on the news,
do you think he's in heaven or hell? (if they exist).
i don't believe they exist.
very rough bardo.
What?
wow, first bob hope now ronald reagan. this has been a very good 12 months for me.
i wonder if he realizes he's dead yet?
no, someones got to remind him daily...

This man, however, cant be destroyed....

heh heh
de-storyed
I suck at speling.

I've never been one for spelling-nazi-ing dude
just your typo changed the whole context of your post, for me at least
destoried: eg "we've been trying to strip him from the history books for years"
I meant that too.

Ronald Wilson Reagan is back in Hell.
It's not easy having a good time.
Even smiling makes my face ache.
i wonder if he realizes he's dead yet?
I can only hope it';d possible.
In a way, I'm gonna miss the old guy.
Fuck, now we have to watch all those lame ass Special Report life perspective biography please shoot me in the head piece of shit. Thank God for cable networks so I don't have to watch that crap! God forbid if I should actually turn off the TV.
This is a really good idea.
He wasn't so bad, what is everyone's problem? He was like the retard that walks around my neighborhood pretending that he is riding a horse, you just kind of want to ruffle his hair. At least he couldn't do any harm, you know? Being so completely slow...
My favorite (and possibly only) Reagan moment had nothing to do with him, really. It was that SNL skit with Phil Hartman doing Reagan, and he'd act all dopey and stoopid and grandfatherly when the cameras were around, but as soon as he was alone with his cabinet, he'd get all macho and sharp and shit. fucking hellarious.
other than that, i thought he was an evil fucker who gets way too much credit.
I think a few lyrics in Tool's "Hooker with a Penis" say it best.
Fuck you, Reagan!
this is one of the things that happens in the news that i just know monday at work is going to suck really bad.
a lot of people who went to my high school are probably really sad today.
I hate the fact that he died right before D-day; now every single year for the rest of eternity, we're going to have these two events lined together for double the news exposure. fucking wonderful.
there probably going to make so many tv specials about this. every year for eternity
this is one of the things that happens in the news that i just know monday at work is going to suck really bad.

I need a strategy to let people know that I'm not going to talk about Reagan. Maybe I need to get some of those inkjet iron-on things and make a t-shirt, like a sillohuette of Reagan with a red circle around it and a line through it, or a woman's lips with a finger making the "Shh!" gesture.
I can hear it now, Elton John doing a song for Ronny to the tune of Candle in the Wind. "Goodbye, retard fuck..." I would not expect Elton to particularly care for Reagan.
I've actually got a list of famous people who I never want to hear about again because I am fucking sick of hearing about them.
Anybody named Kennedy
Anybody from the Jackson family
Jackie O'
Princess Di
there's more, but you get the idea
And now I'll have to add Ronnie to the list. I got so fucking pissed when JFK Jr died because I was watching this really intense episode of Judge Judy where she's telling some asshole what a loser he is, and the TV station interrupts it with this stupid fucking photo collage of JFK Jr and the ho's that he dunked with him. I'm like, That isn't fucking news, this is just a stupid fucking montage!
This is a really good idea.
there probably going to make so many tv specials about this. every year for eternity
I wish he had died around Christmas instead, then they could have had a new Christmas Special with Ronnie as Santa Claus or something, or maybe as the little drummer boy.
This is a really good idea.
My mom's boss. (very rich lawyer..imagine that).
He is closing their offices on Friday. I guess it's some national day of mourning or something? I don't know.
But yeah. It's very annoying.
He DIDN'T do this for the national day of mourning for 9/11
Yep, that sounds like a Beelzebub fan alright...
It's not easy having a good time.
Even smiling makes my face ache.
reagan was 93 had allzheimers and was being fed with a tube up his ass, of course he was going to die.

As President's go, I'd rank him as the least harmful since Harding or Coolidge. Really, you can rate a President by how much or little harm he did. The more good they try to do, generally, the worse off the world is.
Case in point, LBJ has got to be one of the do-goodingest Presidents ever. The Great Society, escalation/micromanagement of Vietnam war, Civil Rights Act of 1964, all entered into with a combination of good intentions and political expedience. All had more fallout than H-Bombs.
People say Reagan was asleep at the wheel, that he had Alzheimer's back then, etc. If only it were true, he'd have been even more of an asset in the Oval Office!
I feared him at the time because I was turning 18 around the time they re-instated Selective Service registration, so I was sure the draft was imminent.
Now I hear there are people advocating putting him on the $10 bill or something. My vote is, take the do-gooder Wilson off the C-note, and put Reagan there.
Then again, if you admire a President, maybe it's best to keep him off the currency. Andrew Jackson was a genocidal maniac, Washington and Jeferson were slave owners, not sure about Hamilton but it wouldn't surprise me. Etc.
Probably better to be like Taft or Cleveland, one of those Presidents people have a hard time recalling.
When we call soccer 'football' the terrorists have won.
This just in: Reagan is still dead.
i respect your honesty, but i detest what you're being honest about.
I really miss his trickle down economics and how he made corporations god.
-K
Ronnie would still make a better Santa Claus than any of those other dudes, bub. Some of those guys were real killjoys, just knew how to suck the fun out of any party, not like Ronnie.

WtF? No harm done? Are you on acid? He fucking dealt with terrorists. He armed both Iran and Iraq, he fucking ran up giant debts, he put a wreath on a SS soldier's tombstone, he was a fucking mad man with horrible princples and the only reason people love him was because he lowered the corporate tax rate from 70% to 28%. He also thought the Star Wars SDI program was feasible, and the supply side economics were good for the country. He also released mentally deranged people in Cali (Like we don't have enough anyways). Fuck Reagan he was horrible and these fucking people who whorship him are the worst kinda of people on the planet.
"I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotisms." Albert Einstein
who the fuck turned this into a politics thread? just so the goddamn mods could move my thread into a forum i rarely ever come in? fuck all of you.
reagan was 93 had allzheimers and was being fed with a tube up his ass, of course he was going to die.
nobody's claiming this wasnt expected. we're just celebrating the fact that it's finally happened.
Ronnie = Santa
I don't care, he'd still make a better Santa in a Christmas Special, fuck all this political shit, try www.flaming-democrat.com or something.

Ok guys I was born during his presidency, so he was just a little before my time (ok he was a shit load be fore my time), and well to be quite honest with you I’m just too damn lazy to look up information on the internet on Reagan. And I’ve been catching some of the stuff people have been saying on the news. And it’s all kinds of sappy crap like: He changed my life, or he was the best president, or here’s the worst one (and I swear I heard someone say it): It’s like lousing a family member. Now I know not all of that’s true, so how good of a president was he?

"Fuck you, you fucking fuck"
-Frank Booth
i love how reagan was president during 1984. That just seems fitting for some reason.
up north in Alaska
thats. fucking. awesome.
him and bill maher should get together over tea sometime.
This just in...Nancy Reagan just blinked...again.
I live in Maryland, not too far from DC, and the news coverage has been fucking ridiculous. I mean they come on to tell you that the airplane carrying his body just passed over "his final resting place." What the fuck is that? That isn't news. Even if I liked the guy I wouldn't give a fuck if the plane just passed over a rat's asshole or whatever, that's just ridiculous!
I don't know whether to laugh or cry, because it won't be over any time soon. It's going to be the 24/7 Reagan putrefaction watch. I need a parody like a giant Reagan bobblehead in my front yard, and everyone would think it was so sweet and wonderful not realizing that it is a sick joke.
This is a really good idea.

he really did deserve alzheimer's in fact it's pretty fitting when you figure it out

Really?
