Kerry Selects Edwards As Running Mate. Ozymandias To Vote For Nader Again?
Fuck John Kerry, fuck him up his stupid fucking ass. He's fucking clownshoes.
I'm flirting with voting for Bush now...
It's not easy having a good time.
Even smiling makes my face ache.

A Bush win may be better for American Liberalism in the long run. When Bush was running in 2000 and pandering to The Middle he picked Cheney as running-mate to send a message to conservatives that he was still their candidate. Fucking Kerry even denies being a liberal. Fuck him, and fuck the democrats for nominating the cunt. It's between Bush & Nader now. I'ma have to decide which one sends a better anti-Kerry statement to the DNC...
whats wrong with edwards? its not like hes any better or worse than anyone else kerry coulda chosen.
He's an empty suit. Just another vacuous Republicrat. Kerry could have picked anyone and instead picked Edwards for the sole reason that he came in 2nd in the race for the Democratic nomination. It's such a safe, boring, thoughtless thing to do and says a lot about Kerry as a person and a politician.
It's not easy having a good time.
Even smiling makes my face ache.
It's 3 ways for me Nader (Independent) Vs Kerry (Democrat) Vs Cobb (Green)
Nader and Camejo is a great ticket for me because I voted for Camejo a couple months ago in the Recall election but he lost to a moron actor who hasn't done shit but sell our future for money from gambling. What an asshole. Hey I can't close the budget like I thought I could so lets turn California into Nevada. Hey fuckhead just raise the corporate tax rate and you could close that fucking budget gap like that. It's not like all busniess can just leave the most populated state in the country. There are too many people for business to ignore. Oh your worried about manufacturing companies moving. They will anyways. They have no loyalty they move to fucking Mexico quicker than I can cum jerking off to quality porn. I am sick of this shit.
Sorry I'm in rant mode.

You're my favorite!
I voted for Camejo in my high school government class... But this time it's serious.
john edwards? the guy that talks to dead people guy ?
yes, the one and only.
damn , i might actually vote this year then !
Why this comes to a surprise to many people is a surprise to me. This is the best shot the Democrats have at winning the Presidency.
I know I'll be voting for Kerry/Edwards come November.
Way Out West
the only way i'm gonna vote is if dean decides to run as an independant with clark as his veep.
Come to the dark side, Ozy. You can't ignore the siren song of tax cuts for the rich and forced Christian ethics on the general population forever...
There is hope, but not for us.
kerry and edwards were in town yesterday, they spoke at "riverscape" which is some city beautification project downtown, so of course you couldn't get within 10 miles of central downtown thanks to road barricades and heavy traffic.
i didn't bother with going, had better things to do (ie work and swimming), but i did catch some on the broadcast. i'm guessing edwards was picked due to his southern friendliness, a place kerry isn't so hot. still, nadar's takin' my vote.
Why do people vote for Nader. He has no chance of winning, ever. It's a fucking wasted vote.
Kerry/Edwards- YeeeHaaawww!!!

people vote for 3rd party candidates in hopes that given enough votes some day the two party system in america will some day be done away with. also i'm voting for nadar because he does stand for and represent many of the things i agree with. you can vote for someone just to get rid of someone else, but that's really the wasted vote, just vote what you believe.
I understand the way you vote, I do the same thing. But REALISTICALLY we need GW out of office, he made a mockery the presidency. We need someone in there that will restore the dignity the presidency lost.
The guy went to NAM for christsake, tehn came back and protested it.
The man did what his country needed him to do, then he fought for the people, fought against the government to try and solve the situation the country was in at that time. This is who we need in government NOW.
Gore won the presidency in 2000, if Nader wasn't running Gore would have NO DOUBT became president. I have no strong feelings towards Gore but he would have been president if Nader wasn't running. point is he'll AGAIN be taking votes away the Democrats.

kerry erally is little better than bush, that's no reason to willingly put him in office. sure he went to vietnam, plenty people did, and most that did go came back and protested it. he was just acting like a regular vietnam soldier, and regular ex-vietnam soldier.
and what makes you think it's nadar's fault that gore lost? did we forget the little mishap in FL already? if nadar hadn't run in 2000 there would have been someone else would have in his place, and everyone who disagrees with the two party system still would have voted for the third party candidate. nadar's running because he doesn't think either kerry or bush would do a fair job as president. we know bush won't, and we're not sure about kerry, but enough speaks about kerry that we know better than to just elect someone because he's the "least bad option to ousting bush".
No I think Kerry will do a good job, I'm not just picking him because Bush sucks ass. I genuinely think Kerry will do a good job.
And for the whole Florida thang, even with that "mishap" Gore would've won.
Your hounding me for choosing Kerry, cause I hate Bush. NO, I choose Kerry I just so happen to hate Bush as well.
and for the whole people choosing the 3rd party candidate just because you don't like the TWO party system is kind of silly. Choose some for their beliefs and ideas, don't just pick them cause they're a 3rd party.
Is GOD an avid TV watcher?
why do you choose kerry? what has he said that made you think "i should vote for that guy"? and i'm sorry, i'm not hounding you, i'm just really curious why you'd vote kerry. i just personally don't think he's a good alternative.
and i said, i'm not picking nadar just because he's a 3rd party candidate, i agree with most of what nadar says. up until a few weeks/months ago, i was not going to vote at all due to the fact that all votes are wasted votes (ellectoral college). but really that's not a good stance against the voting system, you're just discarded. voting third party is a better stance as it shows that you're not just going to take the copy-paste candidates that both parties give you.
I choose Kerry cause he's a leader, not a drinking buddy like Bush.
i want someone who'll do what he has to do for his country, if he likes it or not. I want someone who'll stand up for his beliefs.
I base my opion more a persons character, then their politics cause politcs always change but a person character, how they will act in certain situations is there for life.
I understand your position on Nader (somewhat) but was implying more on the people who don't like the 2 party system, they'll just vote for any 3rd party candidate, like you said.

Holy Shit. Trypd is voting for a president. And not only that, he is voting for Ralph Nader. My life is complete I have gotten my mother to care about politics, my brother to read a book (Survivor - He asked for another so I gave him CH) , I'm taking my father to see F 9/11 and I hopefully had some impact in getting Trypd to vote for a president. I could kill myself now and feel like I had legitmate impact on some person life. Where's the gun?
Anyways... .Hopefully YOU people will stop blaming Nader and stop calling it a wasted vote. This is not sports, calling youself a democrat doesn't make you part of a team. John Kerry ain't going to change shit. I know my vote for Ralph Nader will have more an impact on American Politics. If I voted for Kerry the Dems would continue to take for granted liberal voters but I would not feel good about it either. The ONLY way I will vote for John Kerry if he starts to care more about single payer healthcare, campaign finance reform, living wage, cutting corporate tax loopholes, Equal rights for gays, decriminalization of marijuana, and so on......
Call me when he does.

i voted nader last time because he wasnt gore and he wasnt bush. can anyone tell me some of his policies? and whos the reform party picking this time? and what are they intending to reform?

fred and i are tippin' our hats to ya' Doc, in thanks for talkin' some sense into me, and for that lovely piece of explanation.
Reform has endorsed Nader. Go to www.VoteNader.org for his policies. Basically everything I mentioned before.

The Reform Party endorsed Nader. That's all I know about the Reform Party, but I know Nader is all about reforming the electoral system. He's for things like Instant Run-off Voting and proportional representation (no more winner-take-all or Electoral College). He wants ballot access to be easier, even going the lengths of unifying the system so that all states have the same election laws. He hates the Commission of Presidential Debates. He wants to regulate the media so that candidates can have their share of exposure. If there's anything that can help or make it a fair game for third parties, he's for it. I find this enough of a reason to vote for him. A protest vote, if you will. Other things he cares to reform would be the tax code and corporate welfare. Those are more general "fuck rich people" policies that I also admire.

When I get the Fourth Reich up and running and am rounding up all the Republicans I'll spare you from the ovens.

I don't like John Edwards.
I was hoping for Dick Gephardt.
You will never be famous.
