How to tell you're one step closer to the draft

Okay, help me understand something.

You are afraid of being drafted. Yet, you have never been in the army, right?

If this goes so far, that they start to draft people from the streets, how would they train these kids to become soldiers?

I mean, you got shit load of people that are in the National Guard or something like that, wouldn't those be the one that they choose?

How much time do they take to train these drafted guys? Learning to shoot is the easiest part in the army, it's the rest, the stuff that makes you a soldier, that is the difficult part.

Even if there's been only a couple of years since you been on service, you forget. Your instincts doesn't work the same way anymore. You need training. And a couple of months are the bare minimum, in my opinnion.

So, how long does these boothcamps take, before they send you in to battle? And what a hell do they teach you?

I'm not sure how long it takes to go through training, my guess is a couple months for the average grunt. Officers probably take a bit longer (thank god for college degrees). I would think that weapons training, getting everyone in shape, that basic military shit that's in all the movies, that would all be on the menu. And the thing is, they've already called up the National Guard. In fact, they've called up the National Guard reserves. The whole thing that started this thread is that they've been calling up guess who have been out of the military for more than 10 years. They're getting desperate.

Yeah, the thing is I don't see how they can make a soldier of you in only couple of months, if you have never been in anykind of training. So they must have some way to choose the best of the bunch. To be able to train you to be soldiers they must choose the smartest and fittest, and even then the best you could do, is run and shoot with a rifle in your hand.

Now, to choose the best they probably have a mental test and a physical test, if you fail those they can't choose you, right?

They probably won't choose a suicideal tree hugger, who collapses after running 20 meters.

i think if women want to be a part of the armed services than the goddamned draft ought to apply to them, too. equality, right?

there's a lot of different jobs in the military (MOS - military occupational specialty) which also require more school. things like communications, intelligence, artillery gunners, cooks all of which have their own schools. infantry also has its own school and most likely a lot of people will be funneled into it if there is a draft. however, those who are not believed to be fit for it will still have a place in our massive military machine. Plant Receptor is very pleased by this. the destruction of all mammals is one of Plant Receptor's main objectives.

But don't ladies, before the governemnt drafts you I think they have something else in mind. Take the new Attorney general who I believe is about to convince all the illegal Mexicans in the country that citizenship is on the table for them. Colin Powell is pushing this too. So I think the women won't get drafted for the endless until all the Mexican Americans have been drafted and killed first. That's like a million free soldiers.

If we can instill enough paranoia about Plant Receptor, we would have no problem instituting the draft. We just need to turn it into a big threat thats all.
