I was thinking of the same thing cassun, he killed thousands of Arabs if your a rascist, he gave billionaires millions of dollars for tax cuts, gave local targets for terrorist in the middle east, he loosened restrictions for polluters...... And the list goes on, Cassun it's all about perspective.

Has Bush done any good for me? Well I guess you can say he is such a fuck up that he has forced some democrats to move back into the democratic wing of the democractic party. Obviously the majority of democrats are stills morons and instead trying to appeal the 100 million people who have grown apathetic with idiot polticians and their ass backwards poltics they bother trying to appeal to the retarded undecided voter.

I'd be happy to give the government back that handjob they called a tax return in order to have any of the following:

* dental insurance
* health insurance
* a college edjumacation
* a bus ride anywhere, anytime, for nothing

for real. i'm not paying $120 a month for insurance. and that's 'low'.

Bush renewed my interest in politics (good for me but bad for all you when I'm voted King of Amerika); he's made me keenly aware of how much I despise all things Texan (though I've hated Texas for much longer than I've known who the fuck Dubya was); he's proven that you don't have to be a good public speaker to be the president (im far from being a good public speaker); he's shown that the US military is indeed the strongest military in the world (however, he also proved that we don't get quite as good a return on our investments than other militaries do); he's help centralize our country's cash so that it's not spread out to too many people, who'd most likely use it irresponsibly on things like, say gas or groceries or diapers, you know.... um, this whole 'perspective' thing is kind of draining, but I'm sure if I tried I could come up with more.

Most people who base their opinions about Texas have never visited Texas. You have, or at the very least you know someone's who's been to San Antonio, so your opinion has some validity.

Some validity, however...not a lot. San Antonio's just a drop in the bucket.

I live in the real shit hole area of Texas. Southeast Texas is home of Jefferson County, the slowest growing county in the state. Two years ago we built Ford Park, which houses an arena for hockey, state fairgrounds, giant softball field, and an 18,000 seat pavillion. Sounds good...right. WELL...Jefferson County council members are conservative and old. So guess who gets to play at the pavillion...fucking Cher. Yeah, Hillary Duff's been there, ZZ Top, hell 3 Doors Down played there last year. Puddle of Mud is playing there Saturday.

Big fucking deal. The big acts, the ones with sold out shows all the time, would love to add Ford Park to their tour dates. But nooooooo, the old farts who run the council, which basically run the park, won't have them.

I live about 20 minutes from Vidor, which contains one of the largest groups of KKK members and racists in general than anywhere else in the South. They hate guys like me, who occasionally date black girls, because we're not prejudiced and bassackwards like they are.

I live about 45 minutes away from Jaspar, TX, which is where the infamous James Byrd killing occured. Some good old boy racists decided to chain Mr. Byrd, a black man who never hurt anyone in his life, and dragged his body down a gravel road until his head became seperated from his body.

Despite all of this crap that happens to be in South East Texas, I still love my state. Just like you love your state. So before anybody starts rattling off about how bad Texas is remember, I've been to other states, and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that bad things happen all over. Don't believe me, watch the cable news shows. No state, county, city, town, suburb, is immune. Based upon what I see and read in the news everyday, everywhere is a shithole.
