I never get annoyed or up in arms by Police methods. But this is absolute bullshit. A snatch and grab on a fucking protester!!! Then a kid who's resisting getting hauled about. This is bullshit. Absolute bullshit. We put our faith in these people to uphold the law, not man-handle teenagers.

You can't see what the guys who get arrested were doing, and it doesn't look like the soldiers are actually beating on them or anything.

I agree, protesting has become meaningless. I think that what we're doing on this forum - discussing the issues at hand - has more impact than any protest. The hippies are to blame, protesting about anything they happen to disagree with. Seriously, the civil rights protests were the last time assembly has been used to change America for the better. Remember when all hell broke lose in Seattle because we were opening up trade to China? It didn't change anything and hardly anyone knew or cared about what was being protested. Most people choose to be uninformed and I don't think that will change until this country raises its educational standards.
One of the reasons I linked the Daily Show is b/c I think that they're the only news source that actually puts things into perspective. It's ironic that the only news source with any integrity is the parody.
