In two weeks of use, I haven't come down with salmonella, amoebic dysentery, or any other horrible toothbrush-related illness. That's a good sign, right?
dunno about you guys, but i've not come down with any of those diseases yet. seems a bit of a waste to start sterilizing my toothbrush now. still, interesting idea. definately one of those up there with the "digital sun-dial".
it's an interesting thing, there was a recent study that says that it really is a huge breeding ground for things like this, but it doesnt exactly seem like something that really affects millions of people.
a product im sure moe would like though
One time when I was staying at my Grandmother's house I walked into the bathroom and there was a cockroach on my toothbrush. Now, I put my toothbrush in a holder.

thanks for stealing my 'cockroach on my erect penis' joke.
and im so glad i now know the source of all those bouts of salmonella i've had as of late.
so does this explain why a lot of the time itseems like the people that take WHOLE BUNCH OF CARE for their teeth get all kinds of cavity stuff but the people that are half-ass about it get away clean ?
well hell, i dropped the ball-
[RETAIL: $20]
and you can find it at www.discoverystore.com
$20 makes it almost worth it just for shits.
and for the record, the review gave it a 7 out of 10
You could save your money by closing the toilet bowl lid before flushing.
and your immune system is free
All this antibactirial sterilization garbage is going to kill us in the end. If we don't get exposed to this shit, how will our bodies ever know how to fight it.
i respect your honesty, but i detest what you're being honest about.
yeah george carlin said that and he's right same idea behind all the antibiotics we grow up on effectively destroying our immune systems
I suppose third world street kids who have never made a phone call can dance on our graves . . . I'd like that.
All this antibactirial sterilization garbage is going to kill us in the end.
It's oversterilization and germ-phobia that has created/caused so many of these new allergies and illnesses. In the whole world, how many people were deathly allergic to peanuts thirty years ago, four?
You know, all these germs around here haven't killed me, yet. So, I guess I will just keep on truckin'.

i know what you're saying. One of the advantages of living where I did for so long is I've got immunity from so many diseases. That, and my testicles glow in the dark.

i was at a party last weekend, did the trip to the bathroom with a bunch of girls, (why we have to go with someone else, i still dont know) & as we were leaving one girl grabed a bunch of paper towels to open the door...she used her elbow to prop it open for us to walk through.....it was weird, she washed her hands but didnt want to get someone elses germs from the door handle...
i wonder if she put paper down for her ass on the toilet seat?

it doesnt matter how stupid, poitless, expensive, or how many dangerous side effects something might cause. some jackass will try to sell it to u and say it'll make your life better. and america seems to be a bunch of paranoid, consumer whores these days so they buy it. and they use it, and they take pills for the things that go wrong because of the side effects of what it fixes. and pretty soon ur on everything. ur hair falls out, and ur more placid than bob dole

the one that gets me are people who are allergic to plants/grass/basically the whole out-of-doors. thankfully i'm not allergic to anything like that (penecillin i am), it just confuses me how anyone can be allergic to the very world they live in.
it's why i stay inside and post here
bacteria buildup on a wet object is, i suppose, not unreasonable. but the problem is any bacteria came from your mouth. ditto viruses.
just don't use anyone else's toothbrush, something that has been common knowledge for years.
oh, and don't let anyone charge you $20 for a toothbrush.

but in theory if you leave it exposed in a bathroom could it not collect germs throughout the day?
from who? where? unless you live in a dorm...
