you wish.
at least i'm not trying to refute actual arguments with it.
they bring up point after point and you just say,
commies gonna get us! ha!
hint: it's not working.
T&T: i don't really have much to add to the actual debate. you two have everything pretty much covered. privatization seems promising. okay, so here's a question - what do you think would happen if it was privatized? do you think it would be dangerous - ie: increasing the power of certain corporations too much? opening up more room for monopolies to pop up/expand?
and you say you don't have anything to add you bashful little disx you...
very good questions. i think, yes there could be a bit of a problem with certain corporations gaining more than a bit of a competetive edge in the short run, but i see the space exploration in the long run as benefiting specialized businesses, and not broad corporations who have their hand in everything. i also can see some monopolies popping up, again in the short run since space exploration does cost a bit of a pretty penny, but in the long run again, i think that with the vastness of space, there will be enough room for a lot of different organizations/businesses to get into. also i would love to add it would be a great and extremely beneficial idea to give the non-profit organizations a bit of an early start on space exploration, give them the chance to explore, and make some headroom before anyone starts to profit off of the exploration.
I see no reason to give non-profits (in general) any any preferential treatment.
just a personal thought of mine.
Granted, but is there any reasoning behind it?
Or are you just gernerally feeling magnanimous towards 501(c)(3)s?

No i didn't:
With my astrology/astronomy slip I forfeited all credibility.
In summary:
I believe any information about the universe is essential to our evolution and the benefit of knowledge far outweighs any expense.
good debate guys, thanx.
I'm gonna go read about flags on Mars now, Thanx Tuffy.
...and I found nothing, unless you mean this:

just personal thoughts, nothing proven. i've always held non-profits a bit higher than for-profit businesses.
in my reasnoning behind it, non-profits get a head start, get out there and really explore for factual and scientific information, rather than to just scrape up a chunk of mars rock to sell at a 500% mark-up.
like i said, it's personal preference.

tryp and tuffy are the winners.

No "winners" here. Why should there be?
