Hey y'alls! Great news! My novel ANGEL FALLS made the cut over at Amazon.com's breakthrough novel award contest! I have no clue what happens now, but I think eventually there will be voting or some kind of thing. But I'm kind of excited so I thought I would tell ye all, especially since so many of my early readers are here on the Cult! Thanks to everyone who's ever given me feedback, support, or a kind word! I think what makes me happiest about this is that (from my understanding) the judges did this round purely based on pitch/excerpt reading and not on the novel as a whole. So regardless of if I fail at this contest or not, I know I put together a small packet that got someone's attention, and that can only be good for my assault on Agent Mountain later this year.
