I've heard nothing about page count. Was originally maybe going to be a trilogy, but no update on that, either.

I think one of the times it was listed for pre-order on Amazon it listed that as a page count. Thinking about it more, it might have been something like 247 pages...
all i remember was thinking this is way, WAY to low a number of pages for so big of an idea.

and i think what i heard was maybe somethign frm WCB himself. maybe an interview. maybe something on the velvet. he said something about the page count is rising and rising. and that by the time he's finished it will probably be around 1000. maybe i'm way off.

It's still listed on Amazon as having been published in 2007 at 250 pages. Why would a book that's never been published be listed as out of print on Amazon for three years? No wonder people are confused and desperate to get their hands on it.

Damn. I shoulda come in here and with my first post said that I had a copy and then just taken a paper grocery bag and drew a homemade dustjacket with Godspeed on the front and then put it over and old copy of Kiss me Judas or something and then sold it for a mint!

Didn't someone release a Chinese Democracy before Axl did? Can't copyright a title anyway. Maybe in a rare instance of absolute specificity, but certainly not Godspeed.

We've been speculating about it for five or six years, so who knows how many evolutions it's gone through in length, tone, and content. Well, okay, we're reasonably certain what the tone's gonna be like...

MacAdam/Cage is beginning to show some signs of life again, so maybe we'll hear something soonishly. I dunno if Chris's book is still under contract with them or if he's shopping it elsewhere now, or what.
