Help me get noticed...?
Okay, so I didn't want to put this in PA because I was already putting a bunch of my videos in there, but there is a guy on Youtube named Michael Buckley, and he does this thing called Buck Factor which is meant to help aspiring Youtubers to get noticed. Since I'm taking this thing seriously, I'm entering this contest of sorts, and it helps if people like a person's link/post on his Buck Factor wall. So!
If you'd be so kind, I'd be very grateful to anyone who wants to help me out if they could go to this link
Buck Factor and find my name and link and 'Like' it. I think you have to 'Like' the Buck Factor page to do it, but you can unlike it after if you want. Or you can find out more about Michael Buckley, who does hilarious entertainment news stuff. He even coined the term 'Cuntfetti.'
Anyways, thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
bump
I already liked the video for you Chris just hoping more culties do the same.
Thank you both so much. I'm hoping the positive reaction will catch his notice. Either way, the support means a shit ton to me, even if my video isn't chosen. It inspires me to make more.
did.
so, did you win yet?
I saw that Ronnie. Thank you so much! I'm not sure yet. He lets you submit one video a day, but I'm not gonna ask you all to keep going there every day and stuff, because that'd be annoying for you. However, I'll find out if I won some time later in the week. He just did this week's episode a couple of days ago, and I think he does it every week or so. I'll definitely keep you filled in.
Thanks again for all your support, everyone.
Liked!
Thanks a million, Sarah!
Didn't get on the show.
I'll keep working at it, try again.
I saw it
I should go comment on it. You're funnier than the people he chose to use.

Sorry Chris.
Keep going and we'll keep supporting you.
xx
Thanks, ladies. I really appreciate it. I'm about to film a new one after my walk, and I think it'll be really good. I actually wrote a script out for it, so I'm excited!
New one from early this morning.
So this guy on Youtube, who doesn't have a very big fanbase, about 5k subscribers, but has been extremely helpful to me and is the best friend of one of my favorite youtubers ever, told me that my The Devil Loves Epic Mealtime (which got mostly negative reaction) would have been received much more positively if I had shot it with an HD camera and an H4N(audio recorder).
The thing is, he's absolutely right, but there is nothing I can do about it. The camera I have was a gift from my mother, it's only a month old, and I don't have the money to go out and spend on a new camera. But I'm trying to take this seriously, and so it's holding me back to a certain extent. I just don't know what the fuck to do, and it's frustrating as all get out.
Only a bad workman blames his tools
Seriously though, there's nothing wrong with your camera or sound - I think one of problems is your lighting. The colour of the video looks especially dull as you're wearing all beige too. Perhaps you could make a set background with some colours? The things that can be made out of painted cardboard, honestly!
Good luck.
I haven't seen all your videos but I like the That's What She Said one a lot. It made me laugh!
Hattie, you're absolutely right. I realized it's sort of a blessing in disguise because it'll make me actually have interesting and funny videos, rather than just high quality ones. And yeah, lighting is a major issue, but I think I've found a way around that, at least with the Lazy News videos.
Thanks, Jessica! I'm glad you liked it.
Anyways, I found out that my mom thought the camera she bought me was HD, and when she asked if it takes good pictures, I kind of avoided the question and she was like, "Well what else are you gonna say, 'No'?" It doesn't take very good pictures. But, it's okay, I'm just gonna keep working hard on the videos, make them funny and interesting, and we'll see where this goes.
Woo!

Of course Chris,
I am all for this kind of Networking.
And, you had me at 'cuntfetti.'
Reminds me of 'clitty-litter.'
I feel more like I do now than I did before.
