Happy bidding!

Fuck off.
Umm, ok cheers.
Which forum should I post this on?
Didn't know you had to be so anal about postings. It's just an auction. For a Chuck book. I'd say its already fairly specific...
It's more the I'll join your forum and sell something to you at an extortionate price that you really don't need without even introducing myself or trying to join in angle, than it is we're annoyed at the lack of specifics you've given us. Everyone here has pretty much read Fight Club. Unless your book has an extra chapter nobody's seen, it's not worth that price tag.
Just PM a moderator to move your topic to the correct forum. Don't make another one.

Lighten up, yo. The world is a happy place.
edition, not addition
although i guess if someone gets the book they will be adding it to there collection
Not for me, my life's spiralled downwards ever since I found out I wasn't going to Hogwarts on my eleventh birthday.

The world is also a muggle place.

PM a moderator? Sorry, if that's some kind of internet speak I have no idea what it means.
I have no plans to introduce myself as this is probably the only post I will make here. I'm not a huge fan of the author, just trying to sell the book. It's a rare copy of the first ever print of Fight Club, which is also signed. It's selling for about $900-$1,000US on some online bookstores, so one lucky Chuck fan might pick up a bargain.
If you don't want it, or don't see the point in owning a rare print of the book, or can't afford it then you can't really comment can you? If you really must get heat up about the exact forum I post this in then that's up to you. If you have any constructive advice about where to post it, then enlighten me. If it makes the book easier to sell or attracts a few more bids then I'm all ears.
That's my point exactly. Fuck off. Don't just join up to spam a site selling things. I'm pretty sure it's against the rules, and if it isn't, it should be. And an unlucky Chuck fan will get ripped off. First editions are old and shit. They've got the same words as the new editions, and how much may I ask, of that £100 is Chuck going to see?
Not that I'm calling the man poor, but it's his fucking work you're trying to make a profit out of. You cunt.
theres a trades barters and promotions forum for just that thing
people use it all the time, i don't see the big whoop in someone selling off there collection for some extra dough
hell, Dennis was forced to do it a lot back in the day just to stay afloat
Also, anyone willing to spend 100 bucks on a first edition book DESERVES to be ripped off!

Read his post Nate, and then look at this website. Everything this guy's selling his book for, and everything Dennis has worked for. One of those people was extremely justified in selling off their collection, the other is just out to make money, and spamming Dennis's site.

go look at the trades section and see how many other folks just joined up to hawk something.
it's basically just a normal part of this site, to bring things like this to the attention of other Chuck fans that might be interested. I know wickerkat collects all those fancy-schmancy editions and I'm sure theres a lot of other folks that don't post that might at least like to keep an eye on an auction like that
me personally, even if i won a 20 million dollar lottery I still wouldn't buy one though
I was going to say something hilarious, but I forgot what it was and I'm really frustrated.
It probably wasn't that funny.

Yeah but Wickercat's sanity is fading because he has children, and twins at that.
Meh. If somebody wants to waste all their money on a special copy of his book, I can understand. But I can only ever see myself getting a book signed as an excuse to que up for a while and talk to people and then to the author. I mean, ask Wickercat if his kids would be any more special if his wife signed her name on their foreheads. I don't reckon they would be.

Maybe they would if you collect twins. Like um...Dr. Mengele.
There is hope, but not for us.

Whatever you think of collecting first editions etc. he has a right to post this thread - provided it's in the right forum (which I've just put it in). The book is directly related to the site and our users can decide if it's worth the money.
Voice your opinion, but stop being so abusive to new members and people you don't agree with.
Fine.
so, we've established that cdog does NOT like to collect books
actually, $200 for a signed 1st/1st of Fight Club isn't ridiculous, but more then I would spend, for sure
and by the way, they missus only uses watercolor markers, nothing permanent
and i am NOT losing my sanity
