Do you keep a book/reading/writing related blog?
I don't think I've posted about this here yet. If I have, my apologies.
I'm organizing a massive virtual book tour for my forthcoming novel. Basically, I'm looking for people who have book/reading/writing related blogs who would be willing to let me contribute a guest post sometime between March 2011 and November 2011. I did this for my first book (a chapbook called Charactered Pieces) and it was a ton of fun (for a nerd like me).
Hell, even if your blog isn't lit related, I'd still offer a few words.
More info is available here: http://www.calebjross.com/2010/10/stranger-will-blog-tour/
If you know of anyone who might be interested, please, don't hesitate to throw obnoxiously shove this post in his/her face.

“...There are so many ways of being despicable it quite makes one's head spin. But the way to be really despicable is to be contemptuous of other people's pain. You ought to have some apprehension that the man you see before you was once even younger than you are now and arrived at his present wretchedness by imperceptible degrees.”
-James Baldwin
College will do that. I understand.
If you ever get back into blogging, don't forget me.
i thought you had mine on your RSS. i might be thinking of someone else, though.

But it's still kind of new so i don't get a lot of views yet. Might not be worth it.
Every time someone makes a thread like this it reminds me that I DO have a couple blogs that I keep forgetting I had. If I've got them on a good regular basis by the time you need it, sure.

I have in my notes that I sent an email to you on 10/8, but actually, I don't think I did. I don't have your email written down, so I'm not sure how I would have. Anyway, yeah, I'd love to make a post (when you said earlier in this thread that you didn't blog much, I thought you were referencing the palsy blog, which I feared would not fit with the tour idea).
But it's still kind of new so i don't get a lot of views yet. Might not be worth it.
No worries. Few views are still views. I have you on my list. Thanks!

I even own my own name now. Weird business, buying your name from someone else.

Simply, anyone who comments on every blog post, will get a package
The blog tour has officially started. The second post (of around 60) went live today. This is a special post, so I want to make sure everyone (who cares) is aware.
Today’s post, over at Big Other, outlines how you can receive a “groupie package” (ewwww) just for commenting on other people’s blogs. Simply, anyone who comments on every blog post, will get a package containing the following (depending on how many people qualify, I may have to adjust the packages slightly…but know that I have 5 copies of the STD book itching a hole on my bookshelf).
- A VERY GRAPHIC PHOTO FILLED book about sexual disease called Color Atlas and Synopsis of Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Seriously, this book makes me queasy.
- A used t-shirt from the 1999 Goo Goo Dolls Dizzy Up the Girl tour. Why? Because I can’t go on living with this thing in my closet.
- Cecada’s debut EP, Fog at Midnight. This one, unlike the Goo Goo Dolls t-shirt, is not ironic and is actually an incredible album. I’m just sharing the wealth with this item.
- A paperback copy of Stranger Will, possibly slathered in my own DNA, definitely slathered in a personal inscription
- An 11” x 16” poster from the 1970 movie “I Am a Groupie."
The groupy thing is a very cool idea. Great way to bring traffic to yourself and all the hosters.
You look like the type of guy / gal, who would like:
