Dude. This has been in-progress a couple years. Not likely that shirts will magically materialize just becuse you've shown-up and demanded they happen. Work with Nick and Black Sugar and the couple other guys who are killing themselves on this thing because they just gotta cosplay Durden. Put some sweat equity in first and then see what you get back.

I was looking to see if the clothes worn in Fight Club are available for sale and came across this forum... very interesting reading the progress of the thread. Had I known sooner I would have pitched in my efforts but it seems the hard work is now done.

What is the current status on that Tank Top? Has it been manufactured?

Another thing... what kind of copyright issues would you face by replicating these clothes.. if any?

I searched as of oct and I wasn't able to find anyone making these, hence I made a custom job for halloween.

The images i used are likely copyrighted, which is probably the main reason no one has mass produced this tank. That is, how are you going to get the rights to that many of those types of images? Esp since the older ones are generally cooler. Good luck finding the copyright holder.

You saw in the famous obama "red white and blue" hope art piece that that source photograph copyright holder sued the creator of the hope art piece and won, I believe. So you can't just make a collage (or a piece of derivative art) and not expect issues.

You can make a collage, if you use stock images from a site. I'm sure you can find stock images that are similar to everything on there.

Stock porn images.

I'm very interested in the Black Sugar shirt everyone on this thread is looking for. I have a real purple coffee robe (I noticed they made a reproduction that they sell on amazon of the robe and its just not the same and seems more cheesy than the original) and I would like to trade it for a Black Sugar shirt if anyone gets ahold of one and no longer wants it.

I just created this account to shed some light On these tank tops. As I recall in "Paper" Magazine They had a little article about the shirts and there was a little boutique in New York and I called them and they had these and they were sold out and the gentleman told me they were waiting for the fabric from Italy or somewhere and they made them in a tank top and a T-shirt and they also had them in black-and-white as well as the red color ones. The store was named something and robot and it was not kid robot this was before kid robot and it was not giant robot I'm not sure why the movie studio would have told you they made them I still might even have the little clip of these shirts because I tried it out and then the reason I'm looking now is because I've gotten into tank tops again with prints on them. And I remember the guy told me they were about $80-$100 each if I recall and this is going back now 15 years maybe. I never called them back to follow up on them but I remember in paper magazine article and it was these porno shirts I don't think the studio made these. This was so long ago it was really before the Internet was used regularly. I was trying to see if I might Be able to find the shirts again but it doesn't look like it but I specifically remember the shirts and I personally called the boutique in New York where they listed the shirts at

If enough ppl sign up I'll do a batch of these for approx 80-100 a pop, depending on costs and customization options. If there's enough interest I'll do a kickstarter or something.
