@byproduct23 and @rgwood where did you get the pic of the tank top and the tank top it self? I knew that it had to exist somewhere outside of Fox Studios. Can you tell what kind of fabric it is or how the image was printed on?
After being frustrated for awhile by not being able to find it I went ahead and made it.
I think I remember the commentary on one of the dvds mentioning that it's a custom tank made just for the movie.

A private collector contacted me and wanted one of my FC pieces and offered me to trade it for the BS shirt.
I am at the moment looking into collaborating with someone who would be able to help replicate it.
I just got my MotoX t-shirt from Ryan/Robert Paulson. Great quality and fit.
The website Kickstarter (not an advertisement, I'm in no way affiliated with them) could be a good way to get this project into a more tangible form and make the funding for it manageable, since clearly there's quit a bit of interest here already I'm assuming other people around the world would be just as excited to be a part of this project.

To seekers of the Black Sugar Tank Top-
I have been trying to find this shirt for YEARS. Truth is, it was an original made for the film. I heard the same thing m'man did on the DVD. That being said, the photos are floating around, it has been made, if you will it, it is no dream! So enough threads back and forth. Money is not an object for me. This post is for anyone who made the shirt or got the shirt from a collector.
QUESTIONS
1. What are the steps necessary to get the shirt made? How would I find a designer? How would I get the image on to a shirt? How much does that sort of thing run?
2. Does anyone have one they wish to sell?
3. Is anyone interested in starting a kickstarter to fund this thing?
