Yes, that's right I'm trying to grap your attention and I'm failing...
Hi, well obviously I'm a new member here. I don't really know what I should include when writing about myself, but since this is a Chuck Palahniuk site I'll include information concerning that.
I'm 17 in my second last year of high school. I remember watching Fight Club on a plane frome London to Hong Kong, that was maybe 10 years ago. I loved it. I loved the twist at the end, I loved the narration and monologues. I loved the personalities of the characters.
I didn't bother checking who directed it or if it was an adaptation of any book then. I was a 10 year old kid! Some 5 years later my older sister hands me a book after I ask for reading material to consume me. Choke. Loved it. and of course this time I do a bit of research on the internet to find myself with a name.
I've read Fight Club, Lullaby, Rant, Choke, Diary and currently reading Snuff. (I currently live in Hong Kong; it's rather hard to find the older novels by Chuck.)
So you may be wondering why join the Cult now? and if you weren't tough luck, I'm gonna tell you anyway.
As I moved to Hong Kong, English to the english speaking population of my generation are still reading Twilight, The undomestic Godess and Harry Potter etc. With my failed attempt to get my peers interested into Chuck's writing,(which I might add I tried a great deal, currently still trying)I'm here. Hoping that this site becomes a place for me to share my opinion about Chuck's work and get an active responce back...you could call it a conversation even.
If you want to know anything else just message me.

Did you just put down Harry Potter, son?
And why is my banner ad on this page for dianetics.org?
There is hope, but not for us.
It's not your banner ad.
you second last year of high school? Did you flunk the first one?
Chuck Palahniuk has to be the few authors I repeatedly read from. But some examples of my favourite reads are Prozac Nation by Elizabeth Wurtzel, Please Don't Come Back from the Moon by Dean Bakopoulos and Robin Cooper's Time Waster's series is entertaining. I have a lot more on my fav list but these are the ones that come to mind straight away.
You?

no unfortunately I didn't, that would of been a nice story to tell though. Second last year as in, next year will be my last year in high school. So that would make this year my second last~~

"Everyday takes figuring out all over again how to fuckin live."
I don't want him to grap anything.
this.
If you are 17, and watched Fight Club 10 years ago, you would have been 7 instead of 10. Either age is not okay for watching Fight Club, in my opinion.
I know, everyone...I'm a mom.
Good coffee is like drinking Rock and Roll.
Films on planes are censored in case kids that are too young and have irresponsible parents watch it. I found this out in a very annoying way a few months ago. So, i mean, he didn't really see Fight Club, he saw PG Fight Club, which was probably quite a bit shorter.
It would have to be! There are so many reasons that movie has an R rating. I'm pretty sure I'll never let Gwynyth see it. You know, because of the tower I'm constructing as her residence.

I wonder if they cut the scene with the airplane crash?
yeah...I guess fight club wasn't the best film to watch at that age but what can I say, the deed has been done. nice movie though...

I wouldn't have liked Fight Club at that age.
