Just joined the site so here's my hello from Istanbul 
I got into Chuck's books about 9 years ago when tales of Brad Pitt's naked torso enticed me into the cinema to watch Fight Club and I found myself more interested in the story than his abs. Any writer who can make people faint or puke has got my total respect.
About me: I'm an English teacher, lead an unremarkable life and when, after putting away 6 bottles of wine with colleagues, you find yourself discussing prepositions... you find a whole new appreciation for the darker realms of imagination.
So nice to meet you all... sorry I suck at intros
