Seeking Alliances

Way to sell yourself, P-man. Yes, if I decide to join your alliance, despite the fact you have nothing to offer to said alliance, I'm going to call you P-man...at least sometimes. I'm still fairly a newbie myself, so I guess I'll tentatively join. Besides, it's nearly 2 a.m....not really the best time to be making smart decisions, but what the hell.

Our alliance is two men strong. I like it. Alliance invitations will close in less than a year so HURRY!

I think you're right, Penuckle, that all of this initial bickering, at least between me and you, does make this feel like the start of a warped little family full of dysfunction, and all the squabbles and gobbles is definitely in keeping with the spirit of Thanksgiving.

jane...even though you're an "old-timer," I think you should definitely join this alliance...and if Penuckle and insanitymonkey start to annoy us for whatever reason, then you and I should definitely branch out on our own. *whispers in jane's ear* But that's our little secret.

I'm new, however, I'm a loner but there are strength in numbers? What to do, what to do? If you guys were the x-men I could be the wolverine...you know the drifter that comes and comes as he pleases but is around when you need him and vice-versa..

Even though we're not the X-men, I like that Wolverine idea bunches, Disco. It makes you seem so dangerous and unpredictable and danger and unpredictability will make this alliance...dangerous and unpredictable. And perhaps sometime in the future, after our alliance has a particularly good day of kicking ass, we can celebrate by kicking back to the soundtrack of SNF and you can teach us the Hustle.

Throwing things would be great! This account used to be a fella but then he got busy and decided that I could use his account from now on, thus I became a chick. (I was going to change the username and all but meh, this will do as I've written some reviews already with this name.)

color - I like black, but some will argue that black is not a true color.

I'll try to keep the claws in for those in this alliance, but I can't promise anything beyond that.

Okay, I don't think I can argue with the "seat o' my pants" approach. It takes a decent sized set of ovaries to go without long-term goals, but I frankly dig that. I'm a walking example of no long-term goals. However, I'm lacking in the ovaries department. I hope.

And thank ya kindly. Calvin does indeed rock. I've been a fan for as long as I can remember. As a younger chap, I would often use my library card to check out Michael Crichton and Bill Watterson. I always got odd looks from the librarians.

Canada isn't such a bad idea, although, I'm rather fond of leaving my continent altogether. How does Australia sound? Or, mayhaps somewhere over in Europe? I've lived such a geographically sheltered life that I feel as if I need a drastic change of setting in order to be fully satisfied.

I like the idea of Canada, eh. I hear Toronto is really cool, so I wouldn't mind going there and tracking down any of the remaining Kids in the Hall members and checking out the Lush store.

I also wouldn't mind going to non-edible Irish boy's roots and hang out at the pubs in Ireland, downing pints of the best guinness. I'd even buy the first round.

You're absolutely right, P-man. We need to first FOCUS on a name and then we can make the other grandiose plans. I don't have any specific name ideas right now, but I'm mulling things over. Our name also needs to be a great acronym...something along the lines of cool, awesome or rad. We can't be outdone by Valchrist's Heroes of Time gang, whose acronym is H.O.T.

with that statement I feel like I've just entered prison-like cricumstance.... everyone one like come join our gang there's protection in numbers etc.... and then you gotta ,you know, earn your keep and pay for the protection you recieve by,you know, picking up the soap in the shower. Well, the best course of action is to find the toughest, biggest member of these two gangs and kill him and as the message board/prison analogy goes atleast verbally lash and embarass them and make a name for ourselves so we earn respect and keep everyone back on their heels why we can build strength...
