well there have been two reasons that ive read:

a) oliveri's drug abuse - i think he's a former heroin addict, maybe hes back on it, dunno
an alleged incident of domestic abuse between oliveri and his gf, which josh homme didnt approve of

neither make much sense, so im sure its just press garbage

Nick is way into the drugs, he's open about that but I don't think its heroin. I heard that something happened at BDO in sydney or adelaide, one of the two that caused some shit. Its a shame.

When the yanks moved in, the heroin trade kicked up again now supplying 3/4 of the world's heroin. So this JW butts in and says, "yeah but you're going to have keep an eye on where you get your news from" kinda playing me down. I said, "60 minutes"

The drug is being "smuggled" out of the country right under the US forces' noses. When asked why nothing is being done, their reply is, "we're here to fight terrorism, we're not here to fight the war on drugs" Gee that makes fucken sense.
