Hi. My name is Evelyn. I am 52 and I live in Canada. I wonder if I am the oldest person here. Because of the second Craig Clevenger Intensive I finally got a Premium Membership and signed up for his 6 week course.

I'm a part-time University student trying to finish an English Lit degree. One course at a time. Two years ago The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron help to unblock my creativity. Every morning my Morning Pages are a sacred ritual. They help me stay unblocked and come up with a lot of crazy ideas.

This led me to write a 50K novel last November for Nanowrimo. It is one of the worst novels ever written but it proves to me I can produce something. I loved the structure and the pressure of the Nano deadline. Writing can feel so lonely and the Internet makes it a bit easier.

I read just about anything. I got rid of my T.V about six years ago so I have more time for the important things in life, like reading, writing and people. I have read and enjoyed Fight Club, Invisible Monsters, Haunted and Rant. Choke was my favorite.

Thanks to the members on this site I have read The Raw Sharks Text and Clown Girl.

Cujo is the purrfect name for a cat.

I am ready to write.

Did you see what I did earlier.

All joking aside, you think Cujo is a perfect name, your favourite is Choke and you are taking part in the Clevenger Intensive! Major bonus points from me already.

Dont worry about the age thing, Wickerkat was one of the oldest and when I met him in New York he was like a little teenager.

I wont keep you any longer since you are ready to write but pop in again sometime and we will have a few more good authors to check out.

Good Luck with the Intensive.
