I am from Winnipeg, born & raised. I did not go to the event, this is honestly the first ive heard of it haha
& youre kidding right? The majority of the homeless, alcoholic panhandlers in my town are Native. Our bodies just arent used to liquor. I mean these guys have been drinking for YEARS & theyre still pissing themselves drunk. It makes me sad to say we dont have enough positive Aboriginal role models. My mums always been an inspiration to me, she attended university while raising 3 kids & popping out 2 more. She was called to the Bar a few years ago & now has her own law firm. She rocks.
