I don't know why anyone would film a cop show in Bakers, a good sized city but nowhere near L.A. or the Bay Area. Although, in the movie the Cell with big assed Jennifer Lopez, the part where they find the killer's location, it's a shot near the grapevine mountains about 20 miles south of Bakersfield.

Chingon means different things, depending on the dialect. To me, chingon is about the same as "the shit". Saying "Soy chingon" or "Soy el mas chingon", you're saying "I'm the shit". A vulgar way of claiming to be the best or "the man".

Variations of "chingon":

Chinga tu madre (fuck your mother)

Un chingaso (a hard hit or punch)

Chinga te (fuck you or go fuck yourself)

Ay chingado (holy shit or Aw, shit)

Quiero chingar *insert name*.... This one is a bit tricky. It can either mean "I want to fuck *insert name*" or it can mean "I want to fuck up *insert name*", as in beat them up.
