They're good. Adelaide's up watching cartoons, but Julia's still trying to sleep. They're both getting over a cold right now.

Yes and yes. My Pandora stations alerted me to all those guys, actually.

But yeah, Autechre just struck something in me. I literally have everything they've ever put out so far as I can tell. Just under 20 hours of music.

Speaking of... I miss having a job where I can use Pandora.

I dunno about last.fm, but Pandora is where you build stations based on artists or songs you like, and you can thumbs up or thumbs down music to refine the station.

I used it all the time at my last job, but now I don't have internet access. Sad....

Yeah, it's pretty much the same as last.fm. Except on last.fm you can 'love' tracks, rather than thumbs up/down. www.last.fm

I can't use Pandora anyway ;( It's unavailable to persons outside the US.

In the electronic realm, anything from Massive Attack to Thievery Corporation, hunz, Moby (of course) Dust Brothers, Squarepusher, Fatboy Slim. Well, my 1 year old really loves Fatboy Slim, I think it's fun but not exactly mindblowing.

Other faves would be CKY, Muse, Beck, Mr. Bungle, Radiohead, NIN, Portishead, Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage. The usual, I suppose.

That's wicked. I love Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, Squarepusher, Radiohead and (I adore!) Portishead!

I also listen to, although I hate the title of the genre, IDM; stuff like Modeselektor, Apparat, Moderat. I'm heavily into ambient as well.. Stuff like Eluvium, Library Tapes, Explosions in the Sky. And breakcore! (Venetian Snares, The Flashbulb)

Haha that's cool that you're one-year-old loves Fatboy Slim. Good taste at an early age. Your child is clearly going to be superior to all other kids!

Other CP, I'm into Bukowski, Garland, Clevenger, SG Jones to a degree, Danielewski; sort of the usual suspects for culties.

I also just got ahold of Leaves of Grass for the first time, not too bad at all. Uh... I go between fiction and then philosophy, often religious and then atheist writers, Harris, Zacharias, Dawkins, Armstrong, Chopra, etc.

I dunno, I go in phases. I'm moving back into a fiction phase, which is good. I get too up in arms when stupid people write about philosophy and convince credulous dolts of absuridities.

Meh...
