New to The Cult
I am a new member to the forums here on The Cult. This is also my first blog I have signed up for so everything is new. I joined The Cult because I was interested in other views on Palahniuk's books as well as other fiction novels. My favorite novel by Palahniuk is Lullaby and it was also the first novel of his I chose to read. I was also interested in learning about authors similar to Palahniuk in style, I like to read books by Kurt Vonnegut and Bret Easton Ellis but can't find any other authors with similar style. I just finished Survivor by Palahniuk and am currently reading Imperial Bedrooms by Bret Easton Ellis.

Really, one can't read too much Vonnegut.

“...There are so many ways of being despicable it quite makes one's head spin. But the way to be really despicable is to be contemptuous of other people's pain. You ought to have some apprehension that the man you see before you was once even younger than you are now and arrived at his present wretchedness by imperceptible degrees.”
-James Baldwin
