New member...what-is-up (again)
Hola, Ello, Howdy, Bonjour.
I am a new member, as of about 2-3 weeks ago, and have only now mustered the will to stage a formal introduction.
I planned on doing so a while earlier, but got swept away amidst all the freshly baited threads and found myself 2 weeks later, still lacking a proper intro.
More to the point, my name is Garret, and i live in a small town in southern Alberta, Canada. (no means of insulting american intelligence, but you;d be surprised with how many questions i recieved without specifying the country....but seriously...7 provinces... get with it)
If you have ever been to Alberta before, as well if your an avid googler, i live moments away from the historical catastrophe known as Frank Slide. A kilometer of rock-pile, paralleling the highway; causation: Turtle mountains instability reaching it's final precipice..... I need not explain this i guess, Wikipedia is your friend.
I enjoy writing very much, and have my whole life since first introduced to goosebumps in my elementary years. I then moved on to classics such as JD salinger, and the likes, and found my way over to Chuck Palahniuk.
With regards to Palahniuk's work, i am just polishing off pygmy, and before that the likes of Fight Club, Choke, and i DEVOURED Rant; this is my favorite of all his so far.
My next plan of action, after of course Operation Havoc will be either Invisible Monsters or Snuff. Opinions welcomed.
Well i suppose this is where i would print my hobbies, but i think i have taken a sufficient amount of your time with my introductory rant above. I appreciate your time, i am enjoying this site and it's functions so far, and i hope to participate more intimately in it's hosted discussions.
Anything you want to know about me, feel free to ask, and if you have any recommendations,pointers, tips on chuck etc, please feel free to let me know.
