Hello there,

Decided to become a member today, not really sure what to say, but the above ^.  I guess I should introduce myself in that informal way to get it out there.

Started reading Chuck a few years ago after I found out Fight Club was a book. Umm...is currently eating spaghetti, just saw the movie The Strangers, and found it disappointing, listening to the Pixies, plan on reading When Rabbit Howls which I picked up today, and I'm going to my graduation ceremony tomorrow (I'm in high school, or I guess no school) and I still haven't found "appropriate shoes"...but in all fairness I wasn't really looking.  Turning into an "adult" around the almost end of June, and plan on taking scuba diving lessons for my b-day gift from my parents.  Oh yeah, and I'm female, last time I checked.

I was always taught growing up that sticks and stones may break your bones but words can never hurt you. But nowadays it seems to jury is still out on that. Good luck!

Whoever said words can never hurt me, was never hit by a dictionary, or more specifically the Random House Webster's Unabridged Dictionary...hardcover

what does "seems to jury" mean, brother nate ?

and hey, woman.  welcome to the cult.  have you read all of chuck's books?  have you moved on to craig clevenger and will christopher baer yet?  i introduced the phineas poe omnibus to a friend back in december and he intro'd it to a friend of his two weeks ago and she loved it; she just finished judas and absolutely loved it, even quoted it in her most current myspace blog.  cult recommended, mother avoided.
