hi. I've found myself gravitating here after discovering it a few nights ago so thought I'd register and say hi. I'm 22, from England, I now really really want to read Amy Hempel.

welcome to the cult. I've just started reading Amy Hempel and think she is one of the greatest writers with the exception of Chuck. I think the best book you can find is her collected stories.

I've been sizing that one up on Amazon
and there's ANOTHER one!
I think the book club thing is sporadic right now, but they still have one every now and then.
