Hi guys. Only recently got into reading chuck's books but it's certainly been a fun roller coaster ride so far.
Been browsing this forum for a while now but only just plucked the courage up to join the ranks.
You seem like an intelligent, witty and kooky bunch and I hope i'll fit in just fine

Haha thanks for the welcome guys. My names James i'm 24 and I hail from the East Midlands.
There's been a massive gap of about 10 years since I last read any books. I used to be into fantasy books when I was younger reading pretty much every Redwall book by Brian Jaques and being very into Tolkien and the like. Then in my teenage years books didn't really have any place and now i've been getting into Palahniuk and Bret Easton Ellis.
Treat me mean, I need the reputation.
If you like Bret Easton Ellis you may like Jay McInerney too. I like him!
Ha, before Kabol beats me to it, may I suggest that you read The Contortionist's Handbook, and Dermaphoria by Craig Clevenger. Also, before Berto beats me to it Beat the Reaper by Josh Bazell.

They're a series of chilrens fantasy novels about anthropomorphised animals, mostly the mice that live at Redwall Abbey.
