I am surrounded by people who don't understand what I'm talking about. Palahniuk's books have given me a new perspective on life and when I talk to my friends, family, or significant other about this, they seem to tune me out. I don't care much for the names they call me, I'm just looking to meet people here that actually understand.

It's kind of hard to tell if I, or anyone, thinks like you if you don't tell us how you think. You saying you got this new perspective doesn't cut it. What perspective is it? Are you sure they're not just tuning you out because you don't explain things fully?
this often happens, especially if you only say the second part of the sentence out loud.
might it be that you are often misunderstood due to you being intoxicated? just a guess.

Usually it's because they haven't experienced the same revelation as you, perhaps they also feel as passionate about some of the views they hold? Usually, just because someone 'likes' something interesting, doesn't mean they 'are' interesting...
if a man says one interesting thing, people will say "that's interesting". if a man says 5 interesting things, people will say "he's interesting".
i like man fur.

also there is an "abuse" button, which you can push if you feel that you have been personally and unjustly attacked. i myself have never ever pushed it, but there's always that option.
a lot of them are writers and a lot aren't. are you planning on joining the workshop?

please find someone else to use to wrap yourself in drama. i've NEVER said it before, but i'm saying it now: just leave me alone. i've been ignoring your posts, i erased a blog because you didn't like it, i never hit ABUSE when you called me a cunt when i didn't even know who you were, and generally now i'm just trying to steer clear of you. i have no idea what you want. if you want me to leave the forums, that's fine.
