Hello,
This is my address to the small mob on the chuckpalahniuk.net boards and a bit about myself. I'm a fan of most of Chuck's work, some of it more than others. I've been lingering around the mIRC channels for a long time now and I have been the source of a few minor conflicts along the way but in the few years I've frequented the chatroom I rarely check the site and I've never participated on the forums. Until now. The #chuck channel changed IRC servers awhile ago and since then I've been immersed in a new crowd of 'regulars' such as: glamhoth, Robot_Puking, Eponymous, DrTropical, and PSUonTap - most of which are active on the board so it has brought my attention here, so here I am. My relationship with Dennis over the years has gone back and forth, love and hate, if you can call it that. Seeing as how all our interaction is text.. thrown across a fair amount of anonymity and the safety of computer monitors, you tend to have to exaggerate. I've railed against Dennis, Chuck, and the website in the past both to his face, and behind his back as I've been told. However, I feel a certain kinship with Dennis since we both masturbate to the same medium and he's made some good recommendations on books and movies to me in the past. I plan on doing my best to avoid conflict where necessary -- that's in part where this long and much too elaborate explanation is coming from. Take what I say with a grain of salt. A lot of people don't understand or accept sarcasm as what it is, sarcasm. Message boards and chatrooms and the internet in general aren't much more to me than a real-time social satire. So please, don't be offended by what I have said in the past or what I will say in the future. Don't take me seriously.
