im new, come say hi to me!
i'm not technically new to the cult (i've been signed up on this site for a few years now), but the release of rant and the tour have me excited enough to introduce myself. i just went to chuck's reading in lexington, ky and was really impressed with how amazing he was with the fans...i.e. very patient with the signings (taking his time to personlize each one), photos with anyone who asked, and gifts for those who answered trivia questions as well as those who simply asked him questions. what a nice guy! chuck's short story "cold calling" floored me, and "guts" was well...disgusting. i loved every bit of it, and the fans were great...minus some pretty ridiculous questions, and a pretentious lady (from the local paper) who was trying to be all "hyper-literate" and stereotype chuck's fanbase. all-in-all it was great...i caught a souvenir (a cheeseburger), and my girlfriend caught a bloody leg...what luck.
so, anyway, HI! 
hopefully i can integrate myself into this seemingly wonderful community.
