I guess I have to pay my dues here

I guess I'm a Newbie, even though I created my account some time ago. I've been reading Chuck for some time, and even met him once before he was such an icon. It's not much of a story. I used to live in Idaho and was visiting college friends in the Tri-Cities (Washington state) and caught a Fight Club book signing while one of my friends used the bathroom of some bookstore. There was only a handful of people, and I saw an old woman pick up a copy, open it to a random page, and then put it down quickly and walk away. Now I live in Lexington KY and recently attended the Rant book signing a few weeks ago. My wife is a huge Chuck fan, and it's actually the reason we got together. She was my boss at a call center, and we both happened to be reading Survivor at the same time and started talking....yup that's it
