Hello from Paraguay
Hey guys, i've been around the Cult for a while, and now i finally have decided to join.
Besides Chuck's books, i really enjoy reading many authors, from H.P. Lovecraft, to David Wong. I'm a zombie culture fan; and horror, suspense and thrillers, as well.
I'm working on a novel now, wich is kinda a mix of the genres i've just said. There isn't much of a background here in Paraguay, in horror literature or cinema, so it's a really tuff job!
Hope this site helps me and my writing,
cheers to all!
Welcome
I never understand why the noobs say this.
Pero no me gusta los pantalones amarillos.

Hello and welcome. Your books sounds interesting.
How do you say "Mirka" in Paraguay?
This is why we can't have nice things.
I never understand why the noobs say this.
It's what I'm going to say whenever I stop procrastinating and get around to making a new member thread.

That's pretty awesome. Where was he? I'm hoping he had said SOMETHING about the food... Oh our greasy, fried, meatfull, stomachkiller, orgasm-tasting food... I love this country

It's pretty simple, actually. Is like when a girls says "to be honest with you, i've never done anything like this before..."
Sure.
It's also an almost necessary way to get into something. Like when you open with a joke. "A priest and a rabine comes into a bar (...) And give a 6 years old boy a couple of beers... "
It's "Miriam", and the meaning of the name is "The one who brings peace"
I think it's russian, right?

Pienso que no intiendes que queiro decir. Y pues siempre alguien nuevo dicen que "I've been around here for a while" no es chiste, no es verdad, and more importantly it's not ironic.
SPANGLISH FTW!
Bienvenido al culto hermano latinoamericano!

Buenos Aires. My family and I actually visited there. The food was quite a different experience. It was very tasty.
"The food was quite a different experience."
Those are my thoughts on "estadounidense" food.
That is the main reason why in the states I eat pizza... and New England Clamchowder
