My name is Adam.
I've been browsing the forums for some time, and finally got around to creating an account. When it comes to Chuck Palahniuk, I've read [I]Choke[/I] and I'm about halfway through [i]Lullaby[/i]. I saw [I]Fight Club[/I], and plan on eventually reading that, though I think [I]Survivor[/I] is next. His writing style is unlike anything I've ever encountered. He's definitely a master of minimalism. Amazing stuff...
Anyway, more about me... First and foremost, I am a musician. I play a ton of instruments (though nothing that primarily operates on breath). My tastes in music are extremely eclectic. I also really enjoy photography, though I only got into "traditional" photography over last year. Messing around in photoshop is fun, but I prefer splashing around in the dark room. One day I plan on experimenting with manually splicing images in the darkroom through exposure techniques (similar to the work of Jerry Uelsmann). I also enjoy videogames (a hobby from my childhood that I just never ditched), as well as movies.
Also, I realize this isn't the place to be asking this, but it seems the maximum size of my avatar is significantly smaller than the avatars of many others. It says 90x90 pixels max or 75 KB max, and although many other avatars seem much larger than 90x90, when I upload mine, it automatically resizes to fit those requirements. The file size is not the issue at all. Can someone help?

She. She is not going to tell you to "stfu" because she's still not entirely clear on what that means. She still pronounces it "stuff you" in her head which really throws her off. Just like when people say "ok" instead of "okay", it makes her do a double take because how is "ok" not some kind of horned animal?!

Well, in any case, for the record, I am rarely swarmed by women. I really hate to sound like a pathetic self-loathing teen, but honestly, I don't see why they would.

Guitar, piano, flute, trumpet. And I sing. But I would hardly call myself a "musician". More a person with too much time on her hands.
