I've already started getting used to this forum and navigating my way around. I've actually already started posting, and now realizing that every forum has a Welcome place for new members.

I found Chuck through a friend on a forum, talking about Invisible Monsters. I couldn't find the book, and got to the point where I would read anything by him. Then my friend let me borrow her copy of Fight Club.....and I was sold.
I hope to become friends with some of you, and to just have this place be enjoyable. Which, I'm sure will be for me.

I really can't say. I think Hole In My Life by Jack Gantos was amazing. A story about a guy who ends up selling marijuana, going to jail for it, and passion of wanting to write, but having the difficulty getting there, really makes me happy.
No, I haven't read any Christopher Baer. Got any suggestions on what particular book?

I've been in nanowrimo once, last year. For those of you who don't know about it, just google nanowrimo. It's a thing they do in November where you write a story in which you hope to have written about 15k words by the end of the month.
I've only written an excerpt on something that I've wanted to write about. The plot itself seems really dull, to be honest, and a bit hard to do, but I'm willing to take on that challenge, seeing as how it'll only be a side-thing. I don't plan to be a writer or anything like that.

Hahaha. I think I got to about 12K before I just couldn't take me writing a bunch of nonsense that I knew I would never use.
